I can’t eat pizza but they had a lot of other great options. Chicken and spinach was delicious along with the skewers. My friends said the pizza was really good. The atmosphere is fairly casual but cool and we made reservations since we were a larger group. I recommend making reservations for large groups. They have an area outside where you can eat. Parking was tough on a Saturday night so make time for that.

Some of the BEST pizza myself and my husband have ever had! Dough was the perfect ratio of crisp to chewy and the composition of unique ingredients was delectable. The cocktails we tried were absolutely delicious and perfect for the summer season (do NOT sleep on the watermelon Negroni). Service was accommodating and fast. We can’t wait to come back to try the rest of the menu!

This place is pretty good! Yummy tasting focaccia and seasoned well! Then we got frozen limoncellos which tasted great (great summer item I think). Then we got a red pie a white pie and 2 pasta dishes all tasted superb. The atmosphere is nice as well! Just a little pricey but to be expected for a sit down place. But yummy food would definitely go back.

Great food and the best pizza in NY. The flavor of the dough and the fresh ingredients is what keeps us coming back. There is a good variety of signature cocktails and drinks served by friendly staff. The atmosphere is very loungey and low key which I love. The executive chef, Mike, is always tweaking the menu to offer something new and fresh. They just opened for lunch on Thu and Fri and started serving brunch at noon on Sundays. I can’t help but stop in every week for some pizza and the Tortelli and any one of Frank’s delicious cocktails. I couldn’t recommend 1653 Pizza Co any more.

The pizza similar to what you will find in Italy. If you like American style and brick oven maybe try Anthony’s. The ambiance is wonderful and service was very friendly. Great cocktails!!
