Run Dung, a unique dish of our beloved Caribbean home of Jamaica happens to be a particular favorite, which is mackerel prepared in a savory blend of spices inclusive of coconut milk, tomato, onion, garlic and encompasses the unique tastes our kitchen has to offer. First time customer. Ordered the curry goat with rice and steamed veggies and the oxtail with steamed veggies. The curry goat was very tasty with a more mild curry flavor. What really surprised my were the steamed veggies. It was more a steamed cabbage and was incredible. Paired with the rice and goat it really made for a complete bite, super satisfying.

As for the oxtail…super tasty with a nice size portion (ordered the small) the red and yellow peppers really added a nice sweetness to go along with the mild spice in the dish. Once again, the steamed cabbage was amazing.

The ladies behind the counter were all super friendly. Don’t be intimidated to stop in to try it out. It will be well worth the trip.

Great food and decent portion for the price. Usually better to order ahead and pick it up. Not really seating available aside from a few stools but def good to take home and eat. I’d reccomend it to my friends.

I have been a long-time customer of this establishment and, at one point, visited weekly for several months, spending approximately $60–$80 per visit on consistent orders.

After taking a short break, I returned recently and was surprised by the significant price increase paired with noticeably smaller portion sizes, particularly for the oxtail. While price changes can be expected over time, the reduction in portion quality and quantity was disappointing.

In addition, customer service remains a concern. One staff member, an older woman with glasses, has consistently displayed an unwelcoming demeanor, often failing to acknowledge customers or offer basic courtesy. In the past, the professionalism of the younger staff helped offset this experience, but overall service has not improved.

It also appears that pricing has increased since the development of luxury apartments directly across the street, likely in response to changing demographics. Regardless, long-standing customers expect consistency in value and service.

For those seeking quality Caribbean food with fair portions and professional service, I recommend Caribbean Delights in Bergenfield.

I went into the establishment just about 3:40 PM today January 29, 2026. I ordered a beef patty and a cola champagne. It cost $6.80 I pay cash. I was not given a receipt when I brought the beef patty home. I took one bite into it, and it broke the wire on my braces. It was so rock hard. Food like this should not even be given to an animal much less to a human being. I called 14 Parish kitchen and I spoke with the manager danielle who advised that her beef patties are baked daily. Not only are they baked daily, but they’re supposed to be fresh. This Patty was rock hard seriously rock hard. Why would anybody waste their time to contact a restaurant to advise that they got bad food that cost $6.80. You gotta be some kind of desperate to be selling that kind of food. Mr. ORLANDO WILLIAMS YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOUR BUSINESS AND THE PEOPLE THAT YOU EMPLOY LIKE DANIELA. How in the world do you blame a customer of paying customer a cash paying customer for awful food. The beef patty was old, crusty, and STALE!

I had salt mackerel and I was so . It had no flavor, it seems like it was boiled in water and served. There was a lot of white raw gravy in it. How can someone mess up salt mackerel. I waste $13 cause I couldn’t eat it when I went to work. I expected some onions, tomatoes etc. Maybe their other dishes are good but I will never know because I won’t return.

I was in the mood for Jamaican food and had this spot on the list. I ordered my food online. I ordered the red snapper and the king fish. A few minutes later they called me and said they had no red snapper and no king fish. Bummer! I went with the sweet chili salmon and the whiting. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby and walked in. I was greeted and told them my name. The nice young lady grabbed my food and handed it to me and I left. When I got in I dug in and the food was very good. The salmon was very filling and the sweet chili was very good. I also enjoyed the whiting. I had a good experience and would return.

Small place I go to every once in awhile when I have a Jamicame crazy craving. Had the best oxtails I think I’ve ever had the other day accompanied by cabbage and callaloo. So good! I got the large size and I must say I was set back with the price of $38!! Last time I went in I believe I paid $20 or less. It looks like inflation hit hard There was plenty of food in a large size for two or three meals though.

My pregnant wife just left here tonight and we were excited about getting curry chicken, Mac and cheese, and cabbage (her craving). However, when we went to eat the chicken, we noticed it was pink. My wife called the place and was told by whoever answered the phone that she was lying and that, whoever answered the phone, went and checked and there was no pink chicken.

Unfortunately, we wasted $25 on uncooked, under seasoned food. Such a terrible experience.

Another place I discovered on UberEats. It’s a bit far from me but I was itching for some jerk chicken and this place knows how to make it right. Their portions are very generous. Their lunch offers are a bit smaller but it comes with a soda. I am a huge fan of their jerk chicken. I always get a large when I order and it’s enough for 2 meals. Their patties are always delicious, although they never seem to get that portion of my order correct. I’ve always gotten different patties than what I have order but they are usually to my liking so no complaints but it sucks when they forget to pack them altogether. At first, I suspect my Uber Driver could taken it since they don’t seal their bags but it’s happen too often with far too many drivers for me to suspect the drivers. The restaurant need to do better of this regard!
