LOVE THE ATMOSPHERE! Awesome place for a date, family dinner or friendly hangout. We sat in the bar area at the high top. It’s very intimate and cozy. There was no music at first, which I enjoyed! The music was turned on shortly after wards and was a tad bit too loud. I asked our very friendly and knowledge waitress if it could be turned down and thankfully they did! I appreciated that since I do get migraines from loud music!
I ordered the crab cake for my appetizer. At first cut it was very “fishy” but the smell died down tremendously! I want a fan of either sauce but it was flavorful enough to enjoy without anything extra! My husband ordered the wedge salad quickness he devoured! No explanation needed! I didn’t know what to order but i knew i wanted beef, so the waitress recommended beef tips and grits! Umm no thank you, I told her. I dont like grits! She recommended i try the asiago potatoes with the beef tips! I said Sure let’s try it! So glad I did! The beef was very tender and the potatoes were flavorful and paired very well with the beef tips! It also came with about 10 half cut green beans lol. My husband ordered the Shrimp and crawfish diavolo. He didn’t give much review but if he finishes this much then I know he enjoyed it! He’s a very picky eater and hard to please with new entrees! I did say it was AMAZING! Lol.

Great date night spot located in the heart of Lake Charles downtown division. Great for comfort food with big portions. Never to disappoint. Staff is very knowledgeable If you get stuck on any menu items. Management was very attentive and showed interest in your enjoyment.

Great for an intimate date night, anniversary or adult birthday party. My go to appetizer is calamari and having the Nona’s Lasagna is the perfect entreé. If there’s room for dessert the bread pudding (pictured) is my absolute go to along with the Tirmisu being a close second.

Paige was absolutely amazing. She was so kind and kept making sure we were ok. The tomato soup is one of the best ive ever had and the caprese salad was delicious. Also have the blueberry lemon drop martini and it was superb!!! Will definitely go back and try more things.

121 was recommended from a local, and they were spot on. Me and the wife really enjoyed our anniversary dinner and drinks. Taylor, our waitress was very responsive and helpful in our decisions. We will be back again when we in the Lake Charles area.

Wow, not only did I get a chance to tour the restaurant, but was able to talk to the executive chef. The food is out of this world, try the crab cakes they are out of this world. Adding: I tried the shaved ribeye sandwich with sweet potato Fry’s, what a treat. Service was 5 out of 5 ask for Amy!

Last night we dined for our anniversary, we wanted to love it, the food looked great my wife even snapped a photo. But when she took one bite of the steak she tasted something off. The chef came out and asked her she must not have had a rare steak before. That’s the only way she eats it. So that kind of set the tone I feel like. I was almost don’t with my burger by the time the waitress came to check on us so it was kind of late for something else. My wife said they wouldn’t take it off the tab but I thought good restaurant practice was you do take it off especially if you take it from the table. So $150 later I had to stop somewhere else to get her something to eat. Oh but they did give us a free slice of cheesecake which was amazing. So I guess that’s a plus. But we Definately won’t be back.

Okay…it is quite noisy here. This is not a place to bring a date to at all because it is TOO NOISY! I had to holler my order to my waiter (because it is just that noisy).

If are ever in Lake Charles or driving through, this is a place you need to stop at. The service is top notch. They are know the menu and will recommend either their favorite or the local favorites. It’s southern cooking with flavor. I had the breakfast pizza. It was good but not as good as the shrimp and grits. (BRUNCH). The drinks are good as well. Try the Bloody Mary and say you want your steak Medium Well. (They will know what your talking about). This is great place for meetings, date night, office meetings, or a place to hide to have a good meal.
