I wish I could give them less than one star! We ordered wings from them,, They had a horrible smell to them, and by the time we got home, and my husband took a bite of one It was obvious they were spoiled/bad wings. And do you know when we was told to come back and they will give us fresh ones, we did not bring the old ones with us because as the picture that you see attached, we had threw them in our garbage can outside. Instead of them being accommodating, they proceed to go back-and-forth with me on the phone stating “that we have to bring those wings back up there “. The Cook literally kept saying I don’t wanna lose my job, I don’t wanna lose my job. I don’t wanna lose my job…. But guess what now you have lost two more customers!!! This is one of the most unprofessional exchanges I have ever been a part of in food/restaurants in my life. We spent over $50 in this place for two meals, and you mean to tell me you couldn’t accommodate us one meal. I asked them to make an exception because we had threw them out in the garbage. I said what do you want me to do pull them out the garbage can. SMH! Run, don’t look back, do not eat here.

Employees were friendly and the food wasn’t good at all, only the pound cake was pretty good though. I wouldn’t go back. My husband and I only purchased sides only, Mac and cheese, dressing, greens, green beans and pound cake. Oh and the corn muffins were dry. I really dislike giving poor ratings to local restaurants.

Every time I usually order from here is really good and fresh and the wings are crispy and fried right.. Today they were super greasy like they’ve been re-dropped. I couldn’t even eat it. It was disgusting dripping in grease. Not crispy at all just disgusting

Employees were nice and friendly. My husband and purchased greens, green beans, yams, maccaroni and corn muffins. Muffins were pretty dry, none of the sides were good I wouldn’t go back. The pound cake was pretty good. Forgot to take a Pic of the pound cake slice which was a very nice portion.

10xs better soulfood… definitely worth the try! The facility was very clean and the customer service (thanks Patrice) is excellent! Really down home and comfortable! I ordered the pork chops 1 fried 1 smothered the pork chops are seasoned perfectly and wonderfully succulent! The yams had a wonderful flavor and I am sure I tasted notes of ginger…what I loved about the Mac is that it wasn’t just cheese and noodles… the pasta they chose was a great choice and I love that the flavor was a bit more complex than cheese and noodle… the cornbread muffin was a classic sweet cornbread muffin… the dessert! The peach cobbler was very good… that is if you love the crust as I do! Great presentation… not overly sweet… very enjoyable!! Why not a 5??Well there were a few things I wld do differently… I don’t like a very heavily breaded pork chop
And I enjoy a homemade gravy..I also like my Mac a bit creamier with a bit more baked cheese on the top..the yams were also a bit soft… but besides those things this restaurant is certainly worth the try and is fairly priced!! Great job 9mile location…. You represented 10xs better soul food well!!

On April 4,2024 I ordered Mac &cheese, green beans and fried chicken wings. Once I got home to eat the Mac& cheese looked old and brown and felt hard. The chicken was salty and the green beans were fine. I’m always purchasing from their establishment. When i called they insisted that it was made fresh today. So they must’ve gave me the scraps. Once they called me back , they asked that I bring in the Mac & cheese the next day and get another side. I’m good i don’t want another side and I’m taking it back once i get off work. So I had to eat my food without the Mac& cheese. Picture added. You tell me ?

Ordered the five piece chicken wing meal. Chicken smelled spoiled and meat inside of the wings was dark pungent and had a bitter flavor . Inedible they did not want to replace them, they told us they would replace them only after giving them back the old nasty ones that we threw away. However they didn’t tell us this till we returned back till we back to restaurant smh… I had ordered from them several times in times before they just lost a customer!!!

Good portion size on meatloaf. The peach cobbler is best I have had in years. Fried fish is nicely seasoned & good portion also. I also enjoyed the sweet potatoes & greens. Meatloaf has a flavor profile I am not over the moon about but gravy was good. The young lady who took my order & cashed me out has excellent customer service skills. Keep that going ….I will be back
