For a restaurant attached to a hotel, this place exceeded my expectations. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet two days in a row, and both experiences were consistently high quality.
Service was excellent on all three of our visits. The staff was attentive, friendly, and efficient, which made each visit feel relaxed and well run.
We were in town for my son’s graduation and stopped in later for drinks and appetizers with the family. Everything was, quite simply, above average. While my expectations weren’t particularly high, the restaurant still managed to surpass them.
The biggest surprise was the burger and fries. The burger was cooked exactly to order, well-seasoned, and full of flavor. The fries were perfectly done, crispy on the outside with a soft, fluffy interior.
Overall, this was a solid dining experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return on a future visit.

I went up for dinner on Wednesday night and found a twist tie bread wrapper in my Caesar salad. I was still expected to pay for the salad that was tainted.
Thought I would give them another chance the next night, ordered a burger with little pink in the middle and was served this burger. That was almost all pink. I’m not sure if the kitchen staff knows how to prepare food but it was very disappointing. I cannot in good conscious recommend this restaurant.

Went for the all you can eat breakfast buffet. The food itself was mediocre but the service and experience were top notch. Locals get 20% off their meal. Kids eat free for the buffet. I didn’t leave hungry and I was able to take in an awesome view. Becca our server was very friendly and helpful. I want to go back for dinner.

This place messed up my order and when I asked for what I wanted and explained that the pancakes were larger yesterday. She brought 2 pancakes the size and thickness of corn bread. Still wet inside. When the manager came up they tried to say that the pancakes were made right. You don’t go from making pancakes that are fluffy to corn bread looking pancakes. It wasn’t my fault that they didn’t put the blue berries in the first ones. My eggs were over cooked but you could eat them but the replacement pancakes were a joke. Then when I told them how I felt about the pancakes they turned the music so loud. This sounded like a bar. My niece is handicap and has problems with loud voices. The manager wouldn’t remove the pancakes off the order and when I was told I could order 1/2 order of toast the charged full price and the manage stated they wouldn’t remove the pancakes or the extra charge from the bill even when the waitress started that I was in the right. Stated they would call the police. Since I had my niece with me and I had to check out of the hotel in 40 min I left but if I’d been alone id have waited for the police. This was the third time in two days we ate here because we stayed in the hotel. I have spent 155.00 for three meals. I’ve never been treated so bad. I like staying at this hotel but never again. I was on the edge of crying when they brought those pancakes to her. Look at that trash.

What an amazing experience!!! We get to travel all over the USA for our job, and we get to have some really great experiences all over the country, But 1091 Rooftop is just Awesome!!! Yes they are new, and they are going through the growing pains of a new type of restaurant in the area. BUT we feel that they are on the right track, and we have over 10 years of experience in this field!!! Please give them a try and SUPPORT LOCAL!!!! we have tried almost the whole dinner menu and everything is on point!! Our Chef was Kysie and she is the one in the picture with an awesome cheese cake, plus the Sriracha Sirloin and the Salmon with Brussel sprouts.

I have been blessed as I have been able to help complete the set up of the 1091 Rooftop Restaurant and Bar. I have worked and earned my way to the position of Kitchen manager with the blessings of upper management team members. We are still stretching our legs as a new establishment. As a restaurant and bar, we have started a small team and have grown into a family. We are so excited about adding new food items and cocktails to our ever-growing menu each week. We will be show casing those new items every week and can’t wait to try our hands in some new recipes. We hope to see and meet folks from every walk of life including our locals “#Cookeville Strong”! We’ll be waiting for you with hot, delicious food and unbelievably great tasting cocktails specially handmade by our family of bartenders and Cooks!

Disappointing dinner…steak ordered medium came well done, the mushrooms were so salty they were inedible, the MARGARITA was so salty(!) it was undrinkable, the vegetarian nachos came with a giant heap of crumbled beef on top, and a salad ordered without cheese came with loads of it. The kitchen needs to get organized and the service staff need to stay on top of orders so they can catch mistakes before they make it to the table.

Perfect date spot! 1091 Rooftop — beautiful place to catch a sunset and a drink on a date. Their specials were lovely and had a tableside Orange roast for the old fashioned. This is the classiest restaurant in town. The service with Rad was incredible. This is also a great spot to watch the game! We saw the AL/TN game in the best spot. We had spicy dill pickle fried spears and Sirloins. The siracha glaze was a great touch. Side salad was a decent size with fresh greens. He had the fries (think fried crisps) and I had the smashed potatoes- all yummy. We finished with a tiny piece of blueberry cheesecake. I can’t say enough good things for this spot. Reasonable prices considering the atmosphere. It’s off exit 286 on I-40 before the red light in the top of the new Holiday Inn. Some of the photos I didn’t take and are off the internet.

We were visiting family and stayed at the hotel so this was a convenient place for us to eat. We ate there once for the breakfast buffet and twice in the evening during their happy hour. Service was fantastic two out of the three times. I wish I could remember the names of our amazing waitress. One night we had a terrible waitress but we asked to switch and then it was fine. We loved the drinks and all of the food we ordered. Nice to listen to live music or watch sports. We enjoyed the outside patio. When we find ourselves in the area again we would gladly stop by.
