Now, onto the star of the show: the food! Their steaks are absolute perfection—juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to melt-in-your-mouth tenderness. We also tried the fish, which was fresh and flavorful, and since stone crabs were in season, we couldn’t resist—they were sweet, succulent, and paired beautifully with their house sauces. The lobster was divine, rich and buttery, and the wagyu elevated everything to another level with its incredible marbling and depth of flavor.
Don’t skip the appetizers: the calamari was crispy yet tender, the goat cheese salad was a fresh, tangy delight with just the right balance of greens and creamy cheese, and the soup of the day (a creamy bisque on our visit) was the perfect warm starter.
Everything about 101 Steak screams quality and attention to detail, from the ambiance that flows seamlessly throughout the restaurant to the impeccable dishes. We’ll definitely be returning soon—highly recommend for anyone craving top-tier steakhouse fare! 5 stars all the way.
My fiancé’s salmon arrived alone on the plate and was overcooked. The creamed corn was just okay, and the complimentary bread had an overpoweringly eggy taste.
Our waiter was nice, and the staff overall were kind, but the quality of the food did not match the price point. Unfortunately, it was disappointing, though my fiancé and I made the best of the evening. Sharing a few photos for reference.
make the rez, as we were highly dissatisfied with the seating/table. We were seated at a ridiculously small table (no lie – the MENUS were bigger than the table! Roughly 2ftx2ft and directly in a walking path for patrons and servers). The hostess immediately saw our displeasure and was contrite when asked if there was a booth available and she had to tell us all were reserved. The couple seated next to us at an equally small table apologized profusely when the lady had to push past me in such a cramped space to go to the rest room. We were left with the two menus and wine list that were DOUBLE the size of the table combined and the waiter kept apologizing for the awkwardness of us juggling for space with them. The service itself was impeccable but the food fell short. We ordered the mussels appetizer and although the broth and seasoning were very nice, the mussels were not cleaned properly and we were left with mouth fulls of sand/grit. I ordered the petite filet with a blue cheese crust and a wedge salad. All were very good and the hubby enjoyed a t-bone with scallops and roasted Brussels sprouts. These were all good (nothing spectacular) and we did enjoy a complimentary b-day desert of crème brûlée and espresso. All in all a $300+ ticket was highly diminished by the poor seating and less than stellar appetizer and just ok steaks. Disappointed to say the least.
I cannot believe that a steakhouse of this quality, is less than a mile away from my house.
My server recommended broiled oysters and jalapeño corn soufflé – AMAZING.
The vanilla bean crème brûlée was so good.
OH MY GOD – how did I forget the lobster tail! Grilled to perfection I didn’t even use the butter sauce.
10/10 would recommend to anyone! It was the most expensive meal I have ever had (about 250 per person). But I bought a piece of meat that typically sells for 100 dollars and I got market priced lobster. Just for the record I am not complaining about the price, I am just putting it in there that this place isn’t for poor people (unless you find a rich person to take you haha).
Fantastic will go again!!!!
