Great biker bar near Rio Costilla! Perfect rest stop when riding between New Mexico and Colorado. Super friendly service!! Unfortunately, with the short days of early Winter we didn’t have time for a real meal, but the fresh chips and salsa were the best we’ve ever had (which is saying a lot, living in Santa Fe!). We will be sure to make time for a real meal here come Spring, when riding back to Colorado for the Summer.

What more do you need/want from a bar right on the border of CO & NM?! Green chile, cold drinks, motorcycles, and huge space to come in and relax. Had a great time chatting it up with the bosses at the long and roomy counter. All down to earth and welcoming. Def have to try the “Mexican Holiday” shot!

Was on a cross country road trip when I stopped here for some lunch. Had a burger with extra pickles (which they came through on!). Also couldn’t pick a side so they offered up a sampling of all of them! Super kind and friendly folks here. Definitely stop in!

It is called the Crazy Beaver now. Out of the way, perfect place for a detour on a road trip. Got some biker bar style but still a family restaurant.

Not a very friendly environment. Not very welcoming to visitors. Expensive food. Not great. And I’d think for such a small nothing to do town they’d at least have a couple of pool tables. But no. Drinks expensive as well. Do not recommend. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Minus ⭐⭐⭐⭐= 1⭐
