I read a review about this place on social media and since it’s close to home, I had been dying to try it. I’m so glad we did! The food was outstanding—actually, better than outstanding. I splurged on the crab legs, which were pricey at $130, but worth every penny. My husband ordered the sea bass, and it was just as impressive.

We each had a cocktail that I’d rate an 8.5, but the service was a solid 10. The only downside is that the space feels very tight. We sat toward the back, and it was a little awkward squeezing between tables to get to the bathroom. Also, for the price point, I expected a bit more glam in the décor.

That said, none of this took away from how fantastic the food was. And here’s the best part—on Sundays they run a 20% off special. That little surprise saved us over $50. Bonus, bonus, bonus!

Service and atmosphere was great but I’m giving 3 stars because I can’t rate a 4. Our steaks missed the mark, as they simply had no flavor. The King Filet and Tomahawk were bland, I had the filet trio with the blue cheese topping and that was ok. The halibut was great but the dressing on the caesar salad had no taste. The au grautin potatoes are a favorite of my son’s, it was bland as well! It was my son’s 30th birthday and we planned to go to this restaurant for some time but he was very disappointed. The food took an extended amount of time to come out but the drinks were served expeditiously. Kyle our server was great, we had a party of 5 but 18% gratuity was added for us, no biggie but that is normally with parties of 6 or more.

This restaurant was meh. Appetizers were fine. Entrees were good for non-vegetarians. Vegetarian dishes were poor. There was pasta but nothing special. Kinda like the make your own option at Olive Garden. My pasta was doughie and under cooked. The sauce was OK… nothing I couldn’t have made at home.

Atmosphere was cool. Service was ok. Had to remind the waitress several times for cutlery and my side salad. Not a big deal but also…

I visited 100 South Chop House on 09/21/25 at around 6:40 PM. The service from the waitstaff was excellent – very attentive, quick, and professional. They kept checking in, bringing everything on time, and even helped when we noticed there were no paper napkins (our server took care of it right away).

The atmosphere was pleasant and cozy, with moderate prices and a nice selection of beer. The highlight at the start was the bread with garlic butter – honestly, I would come back just for that bread!

As for the food, my wife ordered stuffed mushrooms, which were excellent – flavorful, juicy, and well prepared. I, however, ordered ribs with rice. Unfortunately, ribs were not served – instead, I received a chunk of meat that seemed boiled and then slightly dried in the oven. One side of the piece was solid meat, but the other side contained chewy parts with veins and connective tissue. The rice was tasty, but the meat was very disappointing.

Overall, this is a nice and cozy place with great service and good prices. I recommend visiting, but I would not suggest ordering the so-called “ribs.”

I got the filet trio, it was good but the parmesean was not good, and the horseradish was not good either. Horseradish for steak should be a little zesty and have a wet consistency not a granular one. The blue cheese was very good. Al l in all our meal and experience was good, just fix the trio toppers!

The food was good, the bus boys were outstanding constantly refilling water and clearing plates. Our server on the other hand was aweful! He failed to check in with us on a regular basis, never even asked how our meal was, ordered desert never gave us plates or forks to eat it with. For the amount of money you’re spending on dinner there I would have expected better.

We are celebrating a birthday and we had a fantastic time. The food was great we love this place more than some of the big high end chain steak restaurants. Our server Ricardo was fantastic he gave us amazing recommendations and incredibly friendly service throughout the night. Definitely will be coming back.

We stopped in on a Sunday for lunch. The menu had so many great items. I had the Sammy burger with coleslaw and steak fries. He had the filet trio (cooked to perfection) with double broccoli. We ordered the potatoes au gratin. It was enough for 4 people to share, and it was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back to try some more things off the menu, and we will definitely order those potatoes again!

We have dined here for years. It’s one of our go to special occasion places. We were celebrating our 47th wedding anniversary- not that the server bothered to ask if we were celebrating anything.
Last night service was below average. Server checked in very infrequently.
The scallops are one of my favorite dishes. I often order them. Last night, as the server placed the plate in front of me, crab meat fell off onto my lap. I started eating the scallops, one by one and they were sweet and delicious. BUT, by the time I got to the third one, it had an ammonia scent and taste-indicating the seafood had spoiled. Called the server over, she apologized and when the bill came, the manager removed 50% of the cost for the entree. Bill was close to $200.00 with the 25.00 credit.
My main complaint is that the manager never came to the table to ask what happened or to apologize for the spoiled seafood. Very disappointing for a restaurant that was always top notch. Not sure what’s going on, but probably won’t be back.

First time having dinner And was not disappointed. Sat in the bar area and had exceptional service and food. I started my meal with an octopus salad, followed by Delmonico ribeye Cooked medium rare. Ended my dinner with a cappuccino and the ambience of the restaurant. Can’t wait to come back.
