4.4 / 5 on style and elegance. Food and service were just okay. Maybe because it was happy hour?
Service was polite but not memorable. Caesar Salad was good but not memorable. The shrimp were an absolute star! Fries are exactly like McDonald’s and totally addictive.
We had two Nashville chicken. One was juicy and the plate covered, and the other kind of dry.
The restaurant is connected to the hotel and looks like a great place to stay. I would go back.

Truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this restaurant!! As a gluten free gal, this brunch was BY FAR the best gluten free brunch I’ve ever had but also the best brunch I’ve ever had period!! We had the chicken and waffles, the potatoes, and the oat pancakes – absolutely unbelievable. I will dream about this meal until I am back in town! The staff was amazing and so familiar with gluten allergies. 104829/10 recommend!

Wow! Delightful ! OSCAR was our Server/Bartender. Full menu knowledge on point. He took time to ensure dietary restrictions were not a problem. Oscar relayed the Chefs passion for excellence truly shined ! Thank you for a lovely first night on the town in Nashville! Omg the beet salad with salmon was wonderful! Craft cocktails & mocktail took our breath away fresh tasting and unique. Oscar provided additional information without hesitation. We will return before going back home. Oh and once again Oscar was right about the GF pistachio cake w/lemon curd..whoa! I forgot to take the picture of the dessert but whoa!

The atmosphere and ambience were spot on, it was almost like magical ✨️ definitely a memorable time. This would be great to bring a date, friends, or family. Our server and bartender Michael H. And Brooks were very professional and knowledgeable about the menu items and the city itself… Nashville. This place is a must see and eat.

The style of this place is simply stunning, beautifully designed with an atmosphere that feels both refined and inviting. The staff were exceptional: warm, welcoming, and impressively knowledgeable about the menu and pairings. As for the food, it was an absolute 10 out of 10, flavorful, well-executed, and clearly crafted with care. I’ve already been back twice, once for a casual meal and another time for a business dinner, and both experiences were consistently excellent. This is a spot I’d wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking great food, thoughtful service, and an elegant setting.

Nashville Trip – Food Review: 1. The kitchen is spacious and comfortable. The restaurant has a very elegant ambiance, decorated with soft lighting and soothing music, creating a pleasant atmosphere! I tried their recommended blackwood-grilled steak and pistachio cake; the presentation was exquisite, a true art form. The taste was comparable to a five-star hotel restaurant—flawless, but not amazing! The steak was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a mellow flavor. The desserts tasted like they were made yesterday: I’ve eaten so many French desserts since graduation, it’s hard to find anything comparable! This is definitely a restaurant worth recommending in Nashville!

UPDATE: My first experience was underwhelming but I gave it another try and the biscuits and gravy for breakfast were great. I gave this place another star (from 3/5 to 4/5) and would go back.
Original review: 1 Kitchen at 1 Hotel is a beautiful restaurant inside a stunning, high-end hotel. The concept of the menu is fantastic, and I love the overall vibe. My beet salad, however, was unsalted and a bit underwhelming. The chicken was seared, but parts of it were burnt, and I had to cut them off. Just a few tweaks in the kitchen and more attention to seasoning could take it from good to great.
That said, I’ve heard from a friend that the sandwiches and brunch are excellent, so I’d definitely give it another try. Service and atmosphere are both 5/5 stars.
Overall, not quite a five-star food experience this time, but I can see the potential and would go back.

This place is a MUST. The atmosphere is incredible.. I’ve noticed in Nashville when you walk into many places they hit you with a signature scent… it’s something that set the tone for me. Service, decor and the all around vibe was warm and welcoming. The chef, Logan T. Happened to order us their brioche bread with bone marrow jam and butter…. And I think it’s one of the best things I’ve put in my mouth!!!!! We were a table of 6 woman celebrating a birthday and he came out to great us, speak about the dishes we ordered, shared his experiences with food and Nashville with us and genuinely enjoyed that we enjoyed what he cooked for us. In Toronto we are fortunate to experience many different types of foods and restaurants… and 1 kitchen was up there in one of the top 5 places I’ve eaten. If you’re looking to step of the busy streets and enjoy a meal you can make reservations for… this place won’t disappoint.

I had a mushroom white sauce pasta dish and added steak. It was cooked to perfection with great food proportioning. This dish was not drowning in sauce thank goodness.
For dessert I had an espresso and chocolate mousse. It was delicious with a sorbet and crushed pastry adornments.

Excellent upscale restaurant. Narrow and eclectic menu. The dishes are done with a certain flair that sets them above the usual. The chicken bolognese is outstanding. Excellent friendly service.
