The closest authentic Korean restaurant and ambiance that one can get to the ones I went to in Myeongdong. And no tipping like in Korea~! Super yummy dishes from their mandu to jjigae. I would come back here over and over again. 너무 맛있었어요~!

You know it’s authentic and home-style when it’s run by little English speaking ladies. Love the self serve no tips concept but especially love the fish set. Been back 2-4times already. Cold noodles were spot on and great portions.

I really liked this place. The restaurant was clean and spacious and I liked how it was self serve and you get to pick your own seat. I got the spicy bibimnengmyun with LA galbi combo while my mom opted for the chungookjang. The bibimnengmyun wasn’t too spicy and I thought the portion of the meat was perfect. Their complimentary bone broth was super hot and savory and I definitely went back for seconds. I didn’t try the chungookjang but my mom said it tasted very authentic and she enjoyed it. Overall, great place and I’ll be back when I’m in the area.

Seriously overpriced for the quality. Ordered the seafood pancake for $20 and received a doughy mostly scallion pancake with very few pieces of seafood. When I asked the owner to take a look she admitted that it looked like there was very little seafood but that remaking would be out of the question. What?! Donkatsu was soggy and the namesake Nengmyun was not good either.

Unlike other naengmyeon restaurants where the heavy use of artificial seasonings leaves a lingering taste, the bibim naengmyeon here was refreshingly light and pristine, with no residual seasoning coating the palate. It was an exquisite culinary experience.
The interior of the store was clean and tidy.

This place is good!! It’s a self serve restaurant so you order and pay at cashier and they will call for your ticket when food is ready. The best part is NO TIPPING! My Cheong-Guk Jang soup was super good. It comes with a grilled fish and side banchans. Good place to have a lunch regularly.

Our go-to spot for Korean spicy noodles! The noodles are perfectly chewy, the sauce is rich and flavorful, and the complimentary warm broth is such a nice touch. Plus, no-tip service is a bonus!

I was excited to try Sambong Closter, got the bibim naengmyun and pork neck bbq combo, and the food was delicious. Prices were reasonable for the large amount of food, interior was clean and renovated, and there was no tip. Will definitely be back
