I placed my order at 6:38 PM and was given an estimated pickup time of 7:32 PM. We were already in the area so we walked in at 7:18 PM and were told there would be a 10-minute wait, which was understandable since the order wasn’t scheduled to be ready yet.
However, when we returned at 7:35 PM, we were told there would be an additional wait. After waiting 12 more minutes, we were informed it would be another 10 minutes. We did not receive our food until 7:58 PM more than 25 minutes past the promised pickup time.
I am currently pregnant and had four children in the car, so the extended delay was especially difficult. This experience felt unprofessional and unacceptable. I hope improvements can be made to better communicate accurate pickup times and avoid long delays for customers.

Had a nice time here with some friends.
My review as below stands for their ramen. We all agreed that ramen is not the dish to get here.

Today, we splurged instead on the sushi party boat, tuna tartar, fried tofu, vegetable tempura, don katsu, and sashimi platter (for my keto self). I must say, tempura is what they do best here. All their fried foods were top notch. Super crispy with minimal batter, just the Japanese way. Sashimi was good; sushi was ok.

With the number of entrees we had, apparently we only get 3 soups and salads. There were four of us. So there are some Japanese places that will usually just give you a soup/salad so no one feels left out when something like this happens, but they were very by the rules. We ordered another entree later during the meal, and they brought out the soup and salad for that entree.

Server was friendly and on point. Atmosphere is nice and it wasn’t very busy on a Friday lunch time.

We had the Chirashi and the tonkotsu ramen. I’ve been having a lot of ramen lately. It seems to be all the new rage in Milwaukee, and everywhere I go, Ramen seems to be a new addition to the menu. That said, I have not yet found good ramen in Milwaukee. My search continues for a ramen place that specializes in real ramen, not ramen from paste. (A lot of these places will make the broth with instant paste rather than with broth they’ve been brewing for hours. This makes a huge difference. Fresh toppings also make a great difference, but a lot of the restaurants that don’t specialize in just the ramen will have everything pre made and just put together before serving. That seems to be almost all the places I’ve been to in Milwaukee, unfortunately.)

Ramen was too salty. I had to ask for a cup of hot water and add some to dilute it. Toppings were meh, but the noodles were cooked just right.

Chirashi was very pretty. It came with an ice sculpture and pretty blue lights under the ice. But presentation aside, the fish was not necessarily the most fresh.

Both dishes were ok, but nothing special.

On the other hand, we noticed that most people in the restaurant were having rolls or some kind, and they all looked good. So perhaps we just need to come back for rolls rather than the items we had. Oh well. Next time, if we ever go back.

Stopped in quick for a drink and a roll. Service was spotty and got our drink wrong. Seemed like it was a new waitress. Roll was good though small for the price. Upscale interior. Nice to have the option.

Came here for my son’s birthday dinner. It’s one of his favorite restaurants. I love the pepper tuna. My son always gets the chicken katsu. My youngest gets the clear soup and rice. The rest of us fill up on delicious sashimi and other treats. The service is always excellent.

Ordered sushi platter and unagi bowl. Sushi was a borderline health risk. Fish is obviously old, smells of ammonia, and taste rotten. Spat it out and still got sick from it. Unagi bowl is okay, but it was cold, not warm, not hot, cold…

I ordered sashimi and I was not disappointed. The slices are thick and the quality of fish is comparable to decent sushi restaurants I’ve been to on the coast. The price point is also very appealing for the quantity and quality of food. I highly recommend this spot for good sashimi!

Surprisingly impressed with the quality and taste of the food. This was an impromptu choice to kill time and do a small celebration. Would definitely eat here again if we are in the area. The spider roll was a big hit with our party of 8

I’m really hoping the owners hear this constructive criticism and improve. The food is great, we eat and take-out from here several times per year.

Ordering online – is a nightmare. I always forget until I’m trying to check out. They FORCE you to create an account to checkout. No guest checkout. Of course you’ve forgotten the password, because who remembers a random restaurant account password? So then you’ve got to go through and reset it, getting a link in your email, before you can go back to finish your order. Then, even though you have an account and they can show you everything you’ve ever ordered, they make you reconfirm your phone number by texting a code before you can place your order. You have made this process so tedious I always ask why I’m ordering at all?

Put a simple guest checkout, that takes no longer than 1 minute. Please!!
