We were literally their 1st customers. The service was fantastic and the food was beautifully prepared. The spicy dishes were incredible. The sweet beef with noodles caught me by surprise. Incredible. Brought some home for my wife and she LOVED it. If you like Authentic Sichuan dishes, I highly recommend Chili Star.

I absolutely love the new Sichuan restaurant! The food is incredible—it’s the best grilled fish I’ve ever had, and the beef is another favorite. The service is exceptionally thoughtful, as the staff helped us navigate the menu and offered excellent recommendations. I’ll definitely be returning to try more dishes!

We had lunch right at opening and it was amazing. Our dishes were full of flavor and plentiful, our waitress suggested a sizzling meat that was perfectly spiced. Even the starters are sharable portions. Our service was also great, everyone on the floor was attentive and helpful. The decor its a plus. We really enjoyed every bit of it.

Authentic Chinese food. Spicy and packed with flavor! We tried the House Special Grilled Fish – spicy flavorful, stir fried crispy tripe – spicy chewy, house special pork with salted vegetables – sweet, non spicy, and Northern Sichuan bean jelly – refreshing, mild spicy. All were delicious. Will be back to try some other dishes.

I couldn’t resist checking out some more delicious food again! Since the trial tasting at the opening left a good impression, I dragged my friends along to try other dishes. The main goal is to eat something different every time to provide more recommendations for everyone. If you’re coming with a group, remember to make a reservation in advance to have the option of a private room! We arrived a bit earlier than peak dining time to avoid waiting. We eagerly started eating right away, and this time, it cost about $35 per person. It’s really fun to eat with a group! Let’s go!
Chili Star’s House Special Grilled Fish (Spicy Flavor) ✨
The portion is huge, enough for three people with rice. It’s really cost-effective. The surface of the grilled fish is pan-seared, and every side dish is soaked in the delicious broth. The surface is sprinkled with peanuts, cauliflower, wide noodles, and black fungus, all essential companions to the grilled fish.
Hunan Dong’an Chicken ✨
This is authentic Hunan cuisine. The sour and slightly numbing taste is just right. The broth is so good that you’ll find yourself slurping it. The chicken has a chewy yet tender texture, with a clear muscle grain.
Stir-fried Crispy Pork Tripe ✨
Wow, this dish is amazing! The crispy texture of the pork tripe requires skillful control of the cooking time. The chewiness is delightful without being too hard. Paired with red peppers and placed over rice, you can hear the crunching sound in your mouth.
Braised Tender Kidney ✨
The vibrant colors of this dish were stunning. The outer edge of the dish was sprinkled with green onions and topped with red chili peppers. The tender kidney absorbed the rich aroma of the spices, and the bottom was paired with golden noodles. Eating it all together was incredibly fragrant.
Lotus Pond Stir-fry ✨
After trying various main dishes, we couldn’t miss out on this special Hunan stir-fried fruit and vegetable dish. The name “Lotus Pond” made me think of lotus roots. They looked glossy and had a crunchy texture. The snow peas also had a delightful crunch when bitten into.

Good but not great new Sichuan restaurant. It’s funny that there are 2 Sichuan restaurants so close to each other in the same plaza. Here, while the interior is beautiful, the food quality is slightly lacking. Everything lacked depth and complexity of flavor. The homemade dumplings were a definite disappointment too. Service was friendly and prices were reasonable. Probably won’t be back.

Great food. We had a fish soup with lots of pepper and pepper corns. We also had a whole chicken stew it’s was good too it seam to be like a ginger vinegar sauce also a little spicy. The dish was great but a little salty but that could have been the spice level playing with the senses. The chile had a good flavor separate from the soup. I like the look of the menu, but a separate menu with pictures of the dishes would have been good but otherwise you can look on the phone.

Fantastic *AUTHENTIC* Szechuan cuisine. The house made dumplings are phenomenal, the green beans were *perfectly* seasoned and cooked, and the boiled chili fish was out of this world. Portions were large and the quality is exceptional. We will definitely be back.

Chili Star is an exceptional authentic Chinese restaurant that I highly recommend.
The food was out of this world, with standout dishes including the Beef with Broccoli, Spicy Pork Belly, and Sizzling Cumin Lamb. The atmosphere is very elegant, making it especially perfect for a date night. Additionally, the restaurant maintains a high standard of cleanliness.
