Dinner at Zydeco in Hermann was absolutely fabulous as always! My husband had the chicken with red beans and rice, and I had the grilled salmon with a baked potato. The surprise standout was the sweet and spicy corn — truly one of the most unique and delicious sides I’ve ever had. We took the bread pudding and chocolate torte to go to enjoy later, and they were the perfect sweet finish to an amazing meal. Zydeco never disappoints!

Been here twice, each time was perfection. The food is awesome, the place is nice and clean, the service is great. James was my server and he was coolest, super nice, and shout out to his wife (the chef) for doing my girlfriend’s different shrimp request. Definitely going back soon.

Grant greeted us as soon as we walked in. I wanted to sit on the patio but after being out there about 5 min, decided it was too hot. He was very nice and helpful in seating us inside. He was very prompt in taking our orders and serving us. We were there around 2 pm on a Friday and there were 4 tables that he (alone) was taking care of, including being the bartender. The food was delicious and large portions. Would definitely go back!

Birthday party for the memory book! The dinner was every aspect of perfect. The food and service surpassed what I had imagined. All 19 of us including the vegetarians treated to Chef’s special dish agreed. We had boudin balls, plated salads, fish, fried chicken, shrimp, jambalaya casserole, all the delicious sides, red gravy and dessert. All a culinary delight! Chef BJ was accommodating before and during dinner and preformed to perfection. Our group has eaten at Cochon in New Orleans the food and service, I’d say, were better at Zydeco. What more could you want! 5+ Stars Thank you!!

Food was amazing. We tried the boudin balls and fried oysters. The zydeco pasta had a kick but delicious. Red eye gravy and chicken was also a hit. Food portions were big so had leftovers. Service was on the slower side but we were not in a rush after coming from the bourbon festival

Saw this cute place and it seemed like a popular lunch spot. Great menu! All the New Orleans favorites. I had a delicious Crawfish Bisque and Wedge Salad. It didn’t disappoint. The service was spot on even though it was busy. Our grandson loved the shrimp appetizer. We recommend Zydeco and will definitely return.

Exploring Herman and stopped here for lunch. Gumbo was better than what we had in New Orleans! Great atmosphere and staff. Poboy was so flavorful! Hubby has alphagal and they were helpful in options for him.

Gumbo plus crawfish etouffe was excellent. Mac and cheese with fried chicken thighs was the best we have ever had. Grant was an excellent server; pleasant and set a good first impression… Went two days later for more crawfish etouffe! Jen had the bayou fries and took almost half home. They were fantastic! Grant was our server again; really on top of things and takes care to clear tables quietly which makes for an even more pleasant dining experience.

We visited Hermann for our anniversary and when arrived we were looking for a light lunch since having a full course fancy dinner that evening. I was attracted to this restaurant because you could get a cup of gumbo which is up our alley. Once there I got the gumbo, my husband got the crawfish bisque, also got the boudin balls and we shared a small wedge salad, all was wonderful and hit the spot! All prepared perfectly! The young man waiting on us, possibly owner, was the best! He also selected a beer for me from the large selection with my preferences in mind that was so good. He also has a charming patio. At the end of the day we wished we would have chosen this place for dinner instead of the fancy place where high expectations were not met.

This was the first stop of our anniversary trip to Hermann. The food was excellent and the service was great! We had the boudin balls for an appetizer and they were the best I’ve had. We both ordered the jambalaya casserole and it was top notch! We will be back again!
