Vibe: Went on a Thursday and it was packed. Even with reservations, we still waited about 15 minutes for our table. The space is beautiful with two floors, and the whole place has a high-energy, Miami-style vibe—music bumping, very upbeat, very scene-y in a fun way.

Food:
• Rock Shrimp: Great presentation, but overall just okay—felt a bit bland.
• Spicy Tuna Roll: Outstanding. The fish was incredibly fresh and the rolls were small (in a good way). No overloaded, rice-heavy rolls here.
• Special Roll of the Night: Good, but absolutely not worth $50 for a single roll.
• Wagyu Gyoza: Phenomenal—10/10. The meat literally melts in your mouth and is worth every cent.

Overall: Very pricey, but the vibes plus the quality of the dishes make it worth experiencing at least once.

A wonderful date night spot for you and your partner. The service was exceptional. It was a dark and cozy ambiance that felt private. We had some delightful food. I personally recommend the scallops and the shiitake mushrooms. Quite the experience for the palate. The steak was tender and soft to eat.
Also the bathroom was a cool setup. I definitely recommend if you want have a culinary experience…. Then go here.

Zuma delivered an incredible dining experience from start to finish.

Zuma is one of those places where you either love it or really like it — and for me, it definitely landed on the love it side. The low lighting, the spacious layout, and the overall vibe set the tone immediately. It feels elevated but relaxed at the same time.

We went the route of the chef’s selection, which was perfect because it let us try a wide range of dishes. Everything was plated beautifully and thoughtfully. I had a fish dish with an incredible sauce (can’t remember the exact name), but the flavor was on point. The desserts were just as impressive — visually and taste-wise — and everything felt intentional.

Drinks were excellent across the board. I usually drink prosecco, but they didn’t have it — and honestly, that turned into a win because I got introduced to Ca’ del Bosco, which was amazing. We ended up getting a bottle, and it paired perfectly with the meal.

One small detail that really stood out to me was the environment as a whole — even down to the bathroom. It was clean, well-designed, and yes… even the paper towels were top-tier. Soft, quality, and clearly intentional. Those little things matter and say a lot about the standards of a place.

Normally I don’t even take photos of my food, but everything looked and tasted so good that I had to. No complaints at all — the food, drinks, service, and atmosphere were all on point. Most importantly, it put a big smile on my girlfriend’s face, which automatically adds bonus points.

Really great spot. Highly recommend.

Overall great spot. Second time there, first time was for a work event in the banquet space which is absolutely stunning room to have dinner in. We did the premium omakase ($250/pp) and my only criticism is that the first several courses came out way too fast so took a point off for that, it almost felt like we were being rushed, multiple courses on the table at the same time which I didn’t appreciate however, later on, they definitely slowed it down. Food was incredible, DJ vibe was fun the music wasn’t too loud. Menu highlights were the tuna tartare, scallops, lobster, wagyu steak, sea bass (raw and cooked), wagyu dumplings. Presentation was fun throughout, cocktails were on point (Fig Manhattan and vida tequila drinks). More regal and authentic than Tao (which is for sure also a solid pot). Dessert was a fun combination of fresh fruits, but also had ice cream and lava cake which was outstanding. The espresso martini was on point and the branded chocolate flake on top was a nice touch. Would go again to try their regular menu.

This is one of the best restaurant experiences we’ve had in New York. The food is all fantastic but it is matched by excellent service, as well. We had a group of 7, including kids, and we all had a very enjoyable experience. The dishes are all meant to be shared and we were able to try a variety of offerings. One of my favorites was the Wagyu beef dumplings. The strip steak was also delicious and very tender (see photo). I highly recommend dinner here and we’d love to visit again.

Summery : stunning interior absolutely beautiful hidden from the outside what we have is good with very slight preparation issue however I would go back

Food- the food was really presentation wise stunning I mean, we ordered the Wagyu steak specifically the tomahawk. I mean, check out the picture. This thing is gorgeous. We also have one of the salads. Everything tastes amazing however we ordered our steak, medium rare and it was rare. This is not a major issue. I still enjoyed it, but it is something to know where you’re spending that kind of money. The sauce of the steak was absolutely stunning, but it didn’t actually need

The salad we had was also good to be honest. I kept seeing things Servy other tables that I also wanted to order that that’s why I’ll be back.

Sidenote – At the end of my dinner when I finish up, I told the server I didn’t want dessert he proceeded to tell me are you sure that I asked my partner and my partner said no we’re good and I turned to him and he goes. No you want dessert. And I was like what and he’s like I’m getting you dessert for you and your partner the way he said it made it sound like he was treating me to dessert because the steak wasn’t prepared right which I didn’t ask for and I didn’t want again I didn’t want dessert, but but he served to us and charged us which is totally fine. I mean I’m happy to pay for anything I order, but I felt so tricked to know that dessert just like to know. It was good dessert just not really what I wanted. I was already full.

Atmosphere – I mean the atmosphere will blow you away. This place is huge and has so many cool seating areas. I have an open seafood preparation area and kitchen it just I couldn’t get over the the way it makes you feel walking into that building. Go back alone for that.

Really hard to find from the outside, though I walked by three or four times I walked by a lot in my life and never see it

One of the city’s best Japanese-fusion restaurants. We had one of the private rooms. It was nothing short of perfect. The food was fantastic, and the service was of the highest standard. Highly recommended.

Zuma Midtown never disappoints. The venue is stunning, with a vibrant, upscale atmosphere that perfectly complements the high-end dining experience.
The food was amazing, as always — every dish beautifully crafted and full of flavor.
Prices are definitely on the higher side, but that’s expected at Zuma and worth it for the overall quality. A go-to spot for a special night out.
We really loved the desert with a wonderful support msg for breast cancer.

Every dish we had was amazing although you definitely pay the price. VERY strict DRESS CODE enforcement. No shorts or even athletic pants allowed. The seafood to the dessert were all highlights. Friendly service without any rush.

Zuma is a full vibe from the moment you walk in. The ambiance is sleek, dark, and upscale with a modern zen feel.

Service was top-notch—our waiter Pasha was amazing: attentive, personable, and knew the menu inside out. And Tyson, the manager, is one of the best, sharpest, and coolest I’ve ever come across. He’s young, making a name for himself in the industry, and you get the sense he might be a restaurateur one day, I go out often, and his presence stood out.

The Lychee Martinis were smooth & perfectly balanced.
We had Yellowtail Roll, Tuna Tataki, and signature rolls topped with caviar— all were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.

The Dessert Platter was a showstopper—gorgeous presentation with fresh fruit, sorbet, and Zuma’s iconic chocolate lava cake.

*️⃣: sit on the upstairs balcony area for the best vibe and view. And if you’re with a larger party, the private rooms are definitely the move.

It’s a splurge, but 100% worth it for the quality, service, and overall experience. Ideal for celebrations or a standout night out.
