We are all about card games, board games, table top games, and pen and paper games. We also have a full kitchen, drinks, beer and wine. We have indoor seating for large groups, tournaments and smaller tabletops for 2-4. There is space available in the basement to rent for private events / games and a covered deck area and uncovered patio. Come in and check us out – we are family friendly!

Would recommend!! They gave us a great deal on something that me and my dad have been looking for ages. The atmosphere of the whole place is so great, almost like a tavern out of D&D!! All the staff are really nice and accommodating. We spent awhile looking through their MTG/Pokemon $1 bins and all of the pretty dice and card accessories they had!! All of their sealed TCG prices seemed to be at or around TCGPlayer market price. Be ready to walk though, parking is a little rough.
Overall would 100% recommend, I definitely want to come back to play some MTG with my friends and have some drinks! Love it!!

I never thought there was a better board games spot than Mox in Bellevue in Seattle area. Zulu’s board game is just insane – the itself looks like a labirynth to some extent. Lots and lots of game, very decent good option, lot of sitting place. You can’t ask more from a Board Games place.
My experience was amazing, the theme, ambience everything is top grade. I can’t recommend highly enough !

What a cool place! Game shop up front and tons of tables to play games and eat a good meal. The food is NOT an afterthought here. I had the Dragonborn burger, and it was FANTASTIC. The seasoned fries were also great. Dessert was the fudgey lembas brownie. Great selection of games to grab and play. Super cool vibe.

A very nice place to play board games! A lot of demo board games to try for free, a lot of board games available to buy. And surprising part is the food here is actually really good! The demo board games are all very nice and clean, and some even have card selves to protect all the cards, very cool!

Zulus is the gameshop to stop at if you are in the area. Free to use gaming tables. Free to borrow board game library. A card counter for buying and selling individual cards and they run at a fair rate 70% for store credit which is extremely fair in my experience.
They have a fairly large selection of Magic the gathering booster packs to chose from as well as plenty of booster boxes as well. Tons of board games of varying skill and insolvent level. And Pokémon too!
The food is fantastic definitely reccomend the poutien(sp?) They have a selection of bottled drinks and fountain soda as well as many local beers.
Lots of gaming events as well for lots of different games. My main game is magic and they have plenty of magic events free to join casual commander nights, and pay to enter draft tournaments. The staff is helpful knowledgeable and best of all friendly. The shop is lbgt friendly as well.
As I said in the beginning Zulus is the place to be if you’re in the area.

Great card and game shops absolutely packed wall to wall for Commander night. Food was good (not high end food, but it good enough for a quick eat) and it came out fast considering how many people were in there. The mana-burn sauce is hotter than I anticipated, I loved it.

One if not the best local game stores I’ve visited, and I’ve been to at least a hundred across the country. Great food, great service, very alive across every tabletop hobby. Hosts community and volunteer events. Hosts great WPN tournaments and honors the judge program. Super excited whenever this store has a limited RCQ.

There is no better place anywhere I’ve been for board and card game supplies and the entire gaming experience. The space is sometimes crowded, but that’s just a testament to how popular it is! Even the crowdedness feels vibrant rather than claustrophobic. While you’re enjoying the gaming space, you can order food from a pretty diverse menu that isn’t just bar food, it’s actually good! Beer our cider too, if that’s your thing!
The staff is amazing, they know their business and the events always feel like they are run by people who care (Eric might be the best there is!) Andrew has always been more than accommodating and from the dishwasher to the owner, Matt (a true gem and honestly there’s no one out there like him who could pull off what he has in the gaming community!) these are people passionate about games and community!
Most importantly, zulus is probably the most inclusive space I’ve ever been in. Everyone should feel welcome and part of the community there. I could go on at length about just how awesome the place is, but just go there and experience it for yourself.

I’ve been to a lot of LGS and what they have done here is wild! This is the spot. The place looks amazing, they really went all out with the decorations. Plus, the staff are super chill and know their stuff. Oh, and the food? Way better than you’d expect! I would come here just to eat even if I didn’t play! It’s just a really cool, welcoming place. A must visit!!!!

Nice place, good food, wonderful staff. Tough luck if you want to play board games– 1/2 the time we attempt to go Magic players take up the entire store.
They should rename to Zulu’s Card Game Cafe– A 1/3 of the weekends of the year are MTG pre-releases, and theres One Piece, Pokemon, Lorcana releases. When there is a pre-release you cannot book. I understand its a big money printer but when every board game store does this– board gamers are left without a space. As Magic and etc. increase the number of releases, the more dire it becomes.
It is exceptionally hard to find a place to play board games as someone who lives in a small rental and most of my friends dont have the space. I come here often, weekdays, weekends, different times of day, and very frequently we cant get a spot. We have to spawncamp a table inside, or every now and them we get real lucky. This is just for a group of TWO people, if you have a bigger group, tough luck.
I love board games, I just wish more places allowed them, for those who dont live in a house.
