Visiting from NYC. I got a pokey bowl and it was amazing. Very fresh, staff was very accommodating to order modifications. Presentation was beautiful. Nice assortment of options for toppings etc. good hall atmosphere and benches are great vibes and allow for work to get done. 10/10 food, presentation, and atmosphere.

This is my favorite place in optimist hall! I always get a poke bowl and the quality has been consistent every time. I always get a good amount of tuna in my bowl and the price is very reasonable for what you get.

Waited 30 plus minutes for food and when it came, the poke bowl was half empty and had two measly pieces of salmon and two tiny pieces of shrimp and barely a spoonful of crab that we paid extra for. For how much you pay, this is not worth it. I would rather buy a plane ticket to CA and get real poke. The crunchy burrito was fine.

My wife and I have been coming here for poke bowls fairly regularly for about 2 years. We love it. I get the mixed green bowl with salmon and ahi tuna and it is fresh and delicious every single time. Yes service can be a a little slow sometimes, but it’s worth the wait.

Went here this past weekend, and I did not have a good experience. Firstly, I waited 30+ mins for my order, and ended up giving me the wrong drink. The food was good, but definitely not worth the $30 I paid. On top of that, I got food poisoning, as the next day I got very sick. My partner and I both had the same foods before and after and I was the only one affected.

I ordered the Japanese Curry “warm bowl” which is obviously advertised as being warm. I got my food and everything in the bowl was freezing cold. The rice was cold and it was sushi rice, which gave it an odd flavor. In my opinion, they should do plain white rice if they want the flavor profile to be correct. The curry sauce was not only gross but also cold. The fried tofu was 100% pulled out of the fridge and just thrown in my bowl. It was like eating little ice cubes. The bowl was completely inedible. I can usually just eat what I’m given but this was bad. I was disappointed. Usually I like it here but do NOT get this menu item. Get their sushi instead.

I’ve been going to Zukku for years and this isn’t my first review. Zukku is the best poke bowl spot in all of Charlotte. The poke and ingredients are fresh and the spicy mayo is killer! The ingredients are truly fresh, which is so important for a poke bowl. And the pricing is really reasonable. You can order through their website, so pickup is more efficient for those taking to-go.
