Today I experienced the BEST birthday I’ve ever had sincerely!!! Neely was SO fun, attentive, personable, knowledgeable, and the best server! And you HAVE to ask for Juan, the best chef! He is talented, skilled, creative, comical, and such a fun chef… especially if it’s your birthday! You just might get to wear the chef’s hat and batons of fire as the song,“Happy Birthday”, is sung to you!! You won’t regret it! Thank you so much, Neely & Juan, for such an amazing, fun, and memorable birthday!!!! I’m still young!!! Haha!

We went as a family of 6 and absolutely loved the entire experience. The staff and the hibachi cook, Ed, were so kind and welcoming. The 4 year old in our group was extremely impressed, and kept whispering in our ear “this is the best place ever!!” throughout the meal. They gave him a surprise ice cream dessert, and he even wants to come back for his 5th birthday. 🙂 the Tropical Salad was a favorite, as was the teriyaki chicken hibachi. Would highly recommend!!

A Promising Comeback for a Long-Time Evansville Favorite
Zuki Sushi & Hibachi used to be one of Evansville’s cornerstone sushi spots, and with all the new competition around town, I was curious to see how they’ve been doing under the new ownership this past year. My partner and I stopped in for lunch, and honestly, I’m glad we did.
They’ve clearly been putting in real effort—updating the sushi bar, refreshing the menu, and adding new items that actually look exciting. Service was a little slow, but the staff (and the owner himself) were incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming, which made the wait feel more like part of the experience than an inconvenience.
The sushi? Beautifully plated and genuinely delicious. You can tell they’re taking pride in presentation and flavor again. I also heard they’re getting ready to roll out a new Japanese BBQ and fried rice menu soon, which sounds like an awesome addition and something I’ll definitely come back to try.
If you haven’t been to Zuki in a while, I think it’s worth giving them another shot. The future looks bright there—and absolutely worth a bite.

We had lunch on Labor Day. We each had the hibachi lunch which came with a free appetizer for each order. Our hibachi chef, Juan was phenomenal! He had tricks that we have never seen before and he was so much fun and we enjoyed talking with him as well. He was very personable and the food tasted amazing!!!
Our server Emily took our order promptly, was friendly, and our drinks never ran out. This was the best experience we have had at any hibachi restaurant and we will definitely be back and we will absolutely ask for Juan again!

Ed was our chef, and boy, did he deliver! My fiancée and I both got chicken and steak. Food was SO good, the entertainment was worth the price of the food, and service all around was fantastic. WILL NOT be our last time visiting

My Fiance & I celebrated our 4 Year Anniversary here and it was Absolutely Fantastic! Emily was our server and she was very sweet and friendly. Ed did some Amazing things on the Hibachi Grill including making a heart shaped rice and the #4 with the vegetables. You Rock!!! Thank y’all for a great experience!!!

I loved the food. I don’t like zucchini, brocoli, or mushrooms, but our chef made then taste good. The medium rare steak was good, the chicken was amazing too. Our chef was nice and really funny. And I couldn’t stop laughing. He was also very nice. And the atmosphere wasn’t perfect, bit no atmosphere is perfect, but it was clean.
