Beyond average but missing some to push it to GOAT territory. The dining experience is very Chinese, from the way you order to how they structure the menu to how the dishes are served I feel like I’m back in PRC. Which could be good or bad depending on person. I ordered the signature spicy noodle combo. I agree with other reviewers that the noodles are the weakest link they are way too soft and wimpy. The soup base is good with the distinct spicy profile but the ingredients in there doesn’t really get the taste integrated, they all just fell flat. Prices are on the slightly expensive side but portions are big, two people of average appetite could easily share a combo, and they have a condiments aisle you can add cilantro peanuts or whatever unlimited. Kinda weird for the noodles tho since they are already heavily seasoned, it’s more of a hotpot thing. But I added some fried peanuts into my noodles nonetheless. Service was OK and vibe is family / locals.

It’s like the most legit Chinese food cooked in the area. I could tell the chef was properly trained and brought the flavors from sichuan. Love the rice noodles, and all the side dishes are decent. This is like ten times fancier than the rice noodles from hunan mifen in Newark. They also have amazing beef rolls, sesame balls and the seaweed salad was really good too. The new mixed cold rice noodle with string beans is super good. (Apologies I didn’t take very good photos the food was like half eaten. It looked better when it was served)

Delicious rice noodle soup at a reasonable price. Many flavors of soups you can choose from. One bowl of noodles rice is big enough for two people to share. Fried egg is a special combination with the soup.
We had a complimentary brown sugar tofu pudding during our 2nd trip for lunch. It’s great value if you take the set menus or order it through Fantuan apps.

I love the noodle soup! It has tons of toppings! I ordered the medium spicy sauerkraut (pickled mustard) rice noodle, it’s flavorful and not so spicy. The combo choices are awesome, it’s quite valuable. The 2-person-combo can choose 2 noodle bowls, 1 side cold dish, and 2 iced lemon tea. We 4 people ordered 2 combos and didn’t finish all ( we have average appetite).
I have to say, the lemon tea is really a surprise for all of us. It’s real green tea, blended with fresh lime slices, and can see the lime pulps floating in the drink. It tastes a little bit bitter from the green tea and the pulps, but it awakes me just like an espresso.
The service is good and warm. And the waitress gave us the perfect recommendation and we loved the food.
The only cons I can think of is the restaurant uses stool instead of chairs. Well, I take is as it’s better to enjoy the soup and much more like a traditional “suo fen” feelings . It’s just not a place to sit back and chat.
Update – they upgraded the stool to chairs!

Too oily, too salty, the rice noodles was over cooked. I feel stomachache after eating.
I barely ate the food, yet the staff directly selected 18% tip without even asking how the food was.

I ordered the tomato based custom rice noodle with beef and chicken feet, the noodle was soooo oily, only took a few bite.
Do not recommend this place.

Rice noodles are tasty and the appetizer also delicious. I like the popcorn chicken the best and will come to visit this Chinese restaurant again.
