Had the most amazing experience working with Anita at Zserbó.From the moment I walked into her shop last year I was delighted by the range of offerings, bakery decor and her hospitality. When we needed a special cake for a family baby shower, Zserbo was our choice. We knew our guests would appreciate the deliciousness and artistry Anita would create and they truly did! Our selection was a blueberry lemon cake with buttercream frosting. It was out of this world, and her choice of decoration to match the event theme was perfect. I highly recommend Zserbo and encourage anyone looking for a custom homemade confection to work with Anita. She is wonderful!

We ordered 3 small cakes and a tray of pastries for an 80th surprise birthday party. They were absolutely delicious and beautifully decorated. Every guest wanted the name of the bakery and where it was located. They loved every ounce and nothing was left over. What a talent Anita is! I can’t wait until the next event I need desserts for.

If you’re looking for a cake for a special occasion or just yummy baked goods, Zserbo is it! Anita was so kind and accommodating and brought my vision to life AND made them vegan for me. My non vegan guests could not believe that they were vegan. Hard to come by as I was searching the south shore for days before coming across her bakery. 100/10 recommend. We ordered the lemon blueberry and strawberries and cream and they were so delicious.

We own another bakery in the area and have checked out a lot of bakeries around the South Shore, so we know what top-quality baked goods look like. Let me tell you—Zserbó is outstanding.
Under Anita’s recommendation, we tried her carrot cake, a cream puff cake, some cookies, and croissants, and every single thing was amazing. Zserbó nails it all—the quality, the service, and even how the space is well utilized and everything is neatly and beautifully displayed. Be prepared it might take you some time to explore all of her delicious product lines.
The cream puff cake was perfectly flaky on the outside, with fresh, cloudily light cream inside that wasn’t too sweet—just the way we like it. The carrot cake smelled incredible, was super moist, and the cream cheese frosting had such a great flavor that my wife, who bakes for a living, said she could learn a thing or two from it! We’ll definitely be back to learn and get some more specific Hungarian treats next time!
Zserbó is an absolute gem, and we highly recommend checking it out. Honestly, if we ever step away from the baking business, this will be our go-to spot for baked goods. Anita’s doing an amazing job, and we hope she keeps thriving and serving the community in years to come!

First time and what a great place. I ended buying more than I anticipated. Great latte and sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on the softest croissant. Also decided to get a fritter and that was sweet crunchy on outside and so so soft inside. Lastly purchased some bread and it looks wonderful. Went to a meeting after and told so many people about it and no one had heard of it it’s tucked away so you need to know where to go. Great place and give it a try. Also they put a free cookie in my bag and will give to my kid! Nice little extra.

This is a hidden South Shore gem. Everything that comes out of Zserbó is delicious and the service is top notch. This is now our go-to bakery for cakes but pastries and coffee are also excellent and I had the best tomato soup ever from here. They also came through with a last minute order for a birthday cake, which I would typically do through a grocery store bakery. She had it iced and decorated so beautifully in an hour.

The wife and I visited for the first time early Saturday morning. We bought a couple of muffins, coffee cake slices, cookies, and croissants. They had a great selection and the employees were very nice. The coffee cake slices were unbelievably tasty, as were the cookies and croissants. We would have given them 5 stars but the muffins were a little stale (maybe day old), but not a deal breaker.

A hidden gem! Tucked behind Don Bravos and easy to miss. I was so pleased with my first visit to Zserbó. Ordered a cake and was very pleased with the price, flavor and how it turned out. I ordered a different birthday cake from a another bakery in the area which was much more expensive and much less tasty. I made a mistake when picking up at Zserbo and was going to arrive after closing time, but the owner was super kind and came back to give me my cake! Saved the birthday. I’ll definitely be returning for pastries and other goodies that they sell. Highly recommend!
