Great restaurant!! We had amazing time at Zoya. They opened on Aug 1st and already enough reviews to make us try them out and weren’t disappointed. Our server Alihan took great care of us. The food was excellent! Chicken was very tender and trio place was also great. We will definitely come back especially to try pistachio tres leches.

Zoya is a must-try for Mediterranean food in La Jolla. Everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful. The Chicken Shawarma plate was cooked perfectly, and the Falafel plate was authentic and crispy. also loved the Strawberry Walnut salad, was the perfect fresh side to balance the meal. Zoya is truly exceptional, easily earning a five-star rating! The vibes are wonderful, and the staff’s genuine treatment and rapid service were impeccable. Everything we tried was incredibly tasty and expertly prepared. The generous Appetizer Platter was a perfect start, followed by phenomenal main courses: the Chicken Shawarma was juicy and flavorful, the Chicken and Beef Kababs were delicious and flavorful. I highly recommend the Cheeseburger. So tasty and has unique flavors!

We celebrated my friend’s 30th birthday at Zoya, and it was an absolute hit from start to finish.
We ordered the Zoya Family Platter, and both the beef and chicken were incredibly flavorful and cooked perfectly—great for sharing and packed with bold spices. The Roasted Whole Fish was exquisite, easily one of the highlights of the night—beautifully prepared, tender, and full of flavor.
Now for the pizzas… the Too Hot to Handle Pizza was my personal favorite. The hot honey took it to another level, and the salami + jalapeño combo was next level. Amazing crust and cooked to perfection. We also tried the Take Me on A Date pizza, which was just as solid and full of flavor.
To top it off, the Scarlet Bloom (hibiscus lemonade) was very delicious and incredibly refreshing—perfect balance of sweet and tart and a great complement to the food.
Between the food, the drinks, and the vibe, Zoya delivered on every level. Perfect spot for birthdays, groups, or just a great night out. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

We went for a stroll to La jolla cove and walked up to this beautiful spot, with a nice relaxing atmosphere. The food was delicious with Mocktail Scarlett Bloom. The raspberry rose dessert and baklava were amazing with some Turkish coffee!

The portions were generous, and the presentation was nice. The only downside was the fries — they felt too greasy, almost like they were fried in old oil. The dessert was a surprise; I had tried different versions of Tres Leches before, and this one was quite different from what I expected — but I actually ended up enjoying it. Overall, a pleasant experience and a good meal.
