We had received mixed reviews about this place. A couple of people said it was a must visit but one person told us it was an over-priced tourist trap. We decided to find out for ourselves. The prices were reasonable. They have a great craft beer selection. The menu includes traditional Mexican fare, pizza and even spaghetti. My wife had the chicken quesadilla which she enjoyed. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza and it blew me away. Ketchup, mustard, pickles and ground beef should not go together on a pizza but I thought it was fantastic. The leftover pizza was good warmed up the next day as well.

Decent food but way overpriced. Friendly atmosphere with plenty of locals. I had the 10″ “Thai Pie” pizza, and my daughter had the chicken quesadilla and we each had a pop with it. Total price was almost $43.00.

Zorba‘s has delicious food with a great selection of beers. We sat out on the patio (thankfully, dog-friendly) on one of the most perfect days. Great location right near the water!

Awesome place with a fun, laid-back vibe! While you can’t see the lake from the tables, the location still adds to the cool atmosphere. The food took a little while, but it was totally worth the wait—everything was delicious. Great spot to kick back and enjoy good times with friends!

Our first time at Zorbaz with the family was a blast! The lakeside setting is casual and vibrant—colorful décor, picnic-table seating, and a lively buzz that makes it feel like a mini-vacation. Kids loved spotting all the quirky breweriana and relaxing on the outdoor patio with lake views. Staff were friendly and efficient, and ordering at the counter kept things fun and easy. This was our first time visiting Detroit Lakes and I had been told this is a must visit. Absolutely beautiful views of the lake from here and the beach are right across the street. Service was very fast and the staff were very friendly. We ordered the bowls and were very happy with the portion and quality of the food. We will definitely be back next summer!

Fourth of July and Zorbaz at the beach. So many memories for so many people in the region. Tap beer galore. Pizza and nachos gigantic. Friendly efficient staffing and service. No one in the area matches the fun and excitement of Zorbaz.

You ever watch a horror movie with a super seedy restaurant-like establishment? Think a Rob Zombie flick, honestly. This is where they film that scene where someone is mindlessly filling their cup with Sprite from the fountain machine and the camera does a close-up on the bee who had been climbing inside and suddenly gets caught in the stream and can’t escape the cup before the lid goes on, drowns in the drink, and ultimately gets swallowed by the character, leading to death by choking (hello, Final Destination) or an allergy-related issue that pushes the story forward. Yes, the bees are already here – although if they had a sign for them, it would say “BEEZ” – and those suckers are all over the fountain machine like it’s the party of the century, climbing inside and all around each soda nozzle and flying around like they don’t care how many people pass by since they’ve got a smorgasbord. This is the kind of sanitary standard you’d expect from that one kitchen where the stove top hasn’t had a clean deeper than a single wipe from a wet rag and you never see your host wash their hands. Guests bring dogs inside and outside, and even let their dogs on top of the table. This is where you meet people who not only never wash their dinner table, their pet might be on top munching on the food with you. Holy crap, I’ve never been in any place in my life that had the vibe this place does, and I leave feeling dirty and paranoid of insects. That should have been enough of a sign, but apparently part of me is literally a rat because I absolutely had to try the food and I found it pretty dang tasty. So if you’re also a literal rat or raccoon, you’ll probably love this place.

We ordered a large pizza for 3 of us. After an hour, I went up to cancel the pizza because it was getting late. They never put the order into the kitchen. They credited my card back the $37.00 for the pizza. Then offered me a complimentary beer… No thank you. Can’t feed that to a 10 year old. LOL..!!!!! Maybe we’ll get the pizza we ordered brought to the table next time….! LOL!
