Came across this restaurant on google and decided to give it a try. From the moment you walk in you’re greeted and made to feel welcome, it feels very homey and like stepping into your aunt’s kitchen. Very authentic food, delicious and very fairly priced. My bf got the Bandeja Paisa (said it was the best rice he’d ever had in his whole life) and an empanada. I had the mazorca desgranada (corn off the Cobb) with chicken and a cheese arepa. Both were so delicious and filling, extremely flavorful. We shared a juice and got a dessert to go as we were both so full. Looking forward to going back. Maria Jose was our server and she was super attentive, friendly and gave us great suggestions.

So we tried a new place and are in love with their food. The VIP burger is one of the best burgers I’ve had in Cincinnati. The soup was fantastic, empanadas top notch and can’t wait to have their lemonade again. Great staff, fabulous food! ❤️

I love Zona VIP! The food is fantastic and the service is great. As far as what to get, I recommend the Empanadas for a nice snack, and if you want something hearty the Bisteck a Caballo is amazing (it’s a flat steak with sauce and an egg on top!).

I was craving for Colombian dish since I’ve been far from my Colombian husband. I went to try this restaurant. I love the ambience and the setup. The service was fast and I get to practice my Spanish. The food was a lil bit a letdown. I’ve had better Bandeja Paisa. The flavor just wasn’t there. Under-seasoned but manageable.

First time here so I kept it a bit vanilla and got a bandeja paisa and a maracuyá (passion fruit) drink.

The bandeja paisa was delicious and to me, the highlight was the rice and beans. The beans are super savory and packing great flavor! It’s more of a soupy beans, as it should be, and goes great with the rice. It was so good I almost forgot to eat the meats! Rice, beans and plantains, amazing.

The meats were good but I think I would’ve preferred the chicharrón to have a crunchier skin and for the serving of the steak to be a bit bigger but the flavor was just okay in my opinion. The sausage was good and I thought it was the better one of the meats.

The maracuyá was great! Perfectly tart and sweet and served almost like a slushy. I highly recommend this drink!

Great atmosphere with Colombian colors decorations.

I’ll definitely be coming back.

Flavor is not the same as it used to be. Food now taste all the same and dry. The same seasoning is used for all food. We ordered bandeja paisa, salchi papas, picada it all had the same seasoning.

This place is my go-to when I am missing the comfort foods of my childhood. The Colombian food at this restaurant is as authentic as you can hope for—especially in this area! One bite of their bandeja paisa transports you into the mountains of Antioquia with its inviting flavors, and the natural fruit juices reminds you of the biodiversity of the country.

The food is always on point, no matter what you choose. There’s enough variety in the menu to sample diverse regional dishes. If you’re in the mood for a hearty soup, I recommend trying the ajiaco. But, if you want a sampler of meats, definitely go with bandeja paisa—it’s recognized as the national dish. (And choose the morcilla—it’s delicious and extremely hard to find outside of Colombia!)

The servers are always very friendly and attentive. The food isn’t served very fast—but good, fresh food takes time to make, and you will definitely get great food when it finally arrives. If you’re extra hungry, order some empanadas for an appetizer while you wait.

The atmosphere is… alright. The music played is primarily salsa (oldies but goodies). The décor is a bit dated, plain, and humble. But, what it lacks in décor, it makes up for in food taste. And you’re really coming for the food!

Yerrr!

5/5 best Colombian spot in the area would def come again. Gotta go with the classics, bandeja paisa didn’t miss.

The natural juices was passion fruit juice – maracuya wasn’t watered down like most places.
