Located right on the square, we’re serving up Marion’s favorite Chicago-style deep dish and New York-style tin crust here at Zoey’s Pizzeria. We opened our doors back in ‘91 with the simple idea of making the best pizza in the most honest and authentic way possible. And, true to that goal, we take a lot of pride in our unique recipes. Our community seems to love ‘em, too. Between our good ole NewZago and the famous Zookie, it’s easy to taste why we’ve been a local favorite for so long. When you’re ready to try for yourself, our oven will be fired up and waiting.

First time here. Love it. Pizza was great. Had chicago deep pan and taco. Definitely like the Chicago pizza I expected! Real cheese used too! Taco was also excellent. Crust was crunchy and tasty. ONLY thing Id have to say us that its a little pricey. 2 small pizzas and a tea was $48. The young lady who waited on us was great. Super friendly, made recommendations and was very knowledgeable. Overall, id recommend. Ill be back.

I was not impressed. Maybe it was my fault for ordering Chicago style the crust was so think like way thicker than I liked. We got the zoey so it had lots of different toppings but it wasn’t anything special. We got here 4:30 on a Sunday the place was packed. People kept coming in and leaving because there was no seating. I’m not sure why because I would have rather had pizza hut. We also got the zookie which I don’t think was cooked all the way. Definitely would not recommend the Chicago style.

Tremendous food. Services less than desirable. Waited 45 min for food which was a simple med 1 topping pizza. Several tables who came to dine after us were receiving food long before us. Our server wouldn’t come back to our table and avoided eye contact, so I’m assuming she forgot to punch in the order. When we asked how long, instead of owning the mistake, they tried to come up with a lame excuse about software issues. The manager was short and a bit rude, and when I inquired about the mistake, I had 5 people trying to jump in on the conversation, from the kitchen. They comped our order which I appreciated, as we had to box it up and take along because we had another commitment to get to. When we opened the box, you could tell they must have just thrown the pizza in as half of it looked like it had slid off the crust.
We have been regulars here for years and have always given rave reviews, but this may have been enough to lose our business.

The pizza is great but the last two times the service has been horrible. They made my order completely incorrectly on one occasion and then tonight didnt even make my order and informed me it “hadnt been released” when i got there to pick it up and would have to wait for them to make it on the spot. (i left) Overall just super disappointing.

We were in Iowa visiting family when we found Zoey’s Pizzeria. When you walk in it has the old school pizzeria smell. We were seated immediately. The server recommended some local ciders which were delicious. When in Iowa you must try taco pizza. They nailed it. Great crust. Well seasoned meat and flavorful chip toppings. The server recommended getting it NewZago style. Perfect! We also got The “Zoey” Chicago style. WOW! Flavorful with amazing sauce and fresh ingredients. If you’re in the area you must try Zoey’s! One of the best pizza places we have been to and we travel the US and the world doing food roadtrips.

We had our first experience at Zoey’s on a Saturday at lunch time in December.
It is a small pizza joint, so waiting could be required during their busier times. My suggestion is to call and reserve ahead of time or be patient. We tried once before after a Sunday Theatre Cedar Rapids experience and it was full with a waitlist. We completely understood! We decided to try again at a different time.
It was worth it!
We had their cheese bread with sauce to start and it reminded me of a local pizza joint in my hometown, so that was a nice way to reminisce and chat while we waiting for our pizza.
Next time, we’ll probably just get the pizza but that’s because it all was a little much and we took home half the cheese bread and some pizza.
We had the medium Taco pizza with the NewZago crust. It was packed with toppings, the sauce was delicious, and the crust was buttery.
We’ll be back to try the New York thin crust and the famous “Zoey”! AND the Zookie!

Ordered a small pizza for two of us with 3 toppings..mushrooms all over …beef on half and pepperoni on the other half. The entire crust was burnt black …more on my half. I couldn’t even bite thru the crust..it was that hard. I told the waitress about it and she went to management. Came back and said we would get 50 % off the cost. We never got one red cent off our bill!! We went there for some good pizza and all we got was “burnt” in more ways than one. Our last trip to this restaurant!!!!

That taco pizza was . That is a contender for my favorite pie right there. I’ve been trying to think of one close and I can’t think of one that tops it. First time in and the waitress Alexis did not disappoint in choosing the pizza for me. Staff was amazing and on top of it.

Zoey’s is an institution! Absolutely love the food and the service team. Friendly, prompt, food is served hot and the team will box up what you want to take home. I don’t know if I can eat any other pizza — I’m serious. Try the deep dish, grab a cold beer. Delish.
