This is a great, local spot, that we found getting on the TSP from Family weekend at Marist. The staff was pleasant, and the ice cream fantastic. The atmosphere is very approachable and the outdoor tables made it viable for us and our two dogs to enjoy 2 cones and a pup treat before getting into traffic. We are definitely adding this to our Poughkeepsie stops.

The dairy may be fresh, but the burgers seem to be generic frozen patties. The shoestring fries are great, though, very crispy and tasty.
I appreciated that they did not engage in the guilt-heavy tipping manipulation that is currently so prevalent at counter-based food service.
Minus 1 star because the bathrooms were a bit of a mess – probably because of all the kids.

Peanut butter lovers is totally legit. Thick and creamy. Got 2 scoops cause thats what I usually get at our local place, but 1 would do here. Just so much flavor and creamy their 2 scoops are like 3 regular. Not gonna hear me complain though. Will be back.

My review is based only on the ice cream. The place also offers food but we visited only to try the ice cream. The quality is great- super creamy and with the right amount of sugar. They offer a wide variety of flavors including several seasonal such as eggnog.

Finally a good ice cream parlor, as all the creams used were collected from cows no more than three days prior. Likewise the beef used in the hamburgers is remarkably fresh. Picnic tables out front and in the rear, and about seven tables inside. Very friendly staff and clean bathroom. There is a shelf dedicated to the sale of local produce, such as maple syrups. Photogenic antique tractor in front of the parlor, and a window on the side for use by those scared of the ‘Rona.

Always a five all day, nicest staff and food is always great. Mostly come for the ice cream and have never been disappointed! always a great selection, ice cream is absolutely the best. Love the shakes of the month they’re always a hit. Sundaes are awesome too

I couldn’t believe how big this ice cream place was! There was a birthday party going on but still plenty of room for everyone. The fries are so crispy and addictive. The sliders were yummy and their ice cream was flavorful. The girls working there did a great job expediting the ice cream orders perfectly and quickly!

My favorite ice cream place around by far! Unfortunately, I had to resort to leaving a 3/5 star review because for whatever reason they haven’t made the chocolate chip flavor this entire summer! It’s a shame that you can’t trust that they’ll have your favorite flavor. Otherwise this would be a 5/5 review! Please bring back the chocolate chip flavor
