I was disappointed with the food here I had high expectations. The meal was quite bland we both had pasta dishes. The staff were lovely apart from asking to not be seated near the door as it was very cold, we sat with our coats on for the duration. I don’t think I will visit again.

It was a quiet lunchtime with just one other table. Service by Amber was very friendly and efficient. She definitely made us very welcome and enabled us to have a relaxing meal.
The food was very nice and overall it was good value for money. I had spaghetti bolognese which was nice but not overly generous with the amount of meat. My wife had a tomato pasta dish which she enjoyed.
Our bruschetta starter was also very nice.
So overall we had a nice lunchtime meal and would return. Thanks again to Amber.

Zizzi in Bradford is located in the city centre, just outside the main shopping centre. The restaurant is fairly large, and the colourful décor combined with the wood creates a relaxed, modern feel, ideal for casual dining.
The staff were friendly and well-trained regarding allergens; a gluten-free menu and allergen folder were both provided to me.
I dined towards the end of summer, so I went for the Non-Gluten Wagyu Meatball Arrabbiata, which no longer appears to be on the menu. The meatballs were hearty, flavoursome and really good, and the la bomba sauce added a slight kick which truly elevated the dish. The actual pasta itself wasn’t good at all, though, sadly — it had a rubbery texture and didn’t taste fresh.
Food pricing is competitive, with several promotions available most of the time.
It wouldn’t be my first choice to return, but I wouldn’t avoid Zizzi in Bradford going forward either

Rachel and team were splendid, absolutely professional, warm, efficient and nothing was too much trouble – all with smiles. The food quality was very good and priced at good value. There was a good selection for vegan family members too. And the staff checked everything automatically. Wonderful attention to detail. The hanging candy floss was the cherry on top! We were in a large group which could have affected the quality of food and although mine wasn’t great, the pizzas did look good. . Slightly concerning though and not affected by the group size was finding out that the fries are fried in the same fat as the chicken, so not vegetarian. As we were such a large group, all food was preordered. We didn’t find out about the fries until we got there. A lot of our party were vegetarian or halal and had to change their orders. Fortunately we found out in time.
Back to my food, as a said all our food was preordered but by the time all the starters were served, I still didn’t have mine. We questioned it and it was quite quickly rectified. However, the centre of the arancini was cold. For main I chose risotto with salmon as did a few of my fellow guests, we all found the risotto to be bland and the salmon overcooked and dry. Having said that, the honeycomb cheesecake was lovely.
