This is our favorite kabob place, but everything we have tried on the menu so far has been delicious and flavorful. The service is always excellent and the staff are kind and helpful. Sometimes there can be a wait but it’s only because the restaurant is always packed – a measure of good quality food. We always order the salmon entree which is always perfectly cooked. The tandoori chicken is also always perfectly moist and fall off the bone, but we did not get that today. Today we tried the aushak and potatoes and green peas curry, both of which were excellent.
Overall we love coming here and highly recommend it!

Great place, amazing food, AND they hand-make their pita. Yep, I am obsessed with this place.
My friends and I wanted to have dinner to catch up and they found this place on google maps and i am so happy they did. Their service was great–super cool and kind. We ordered our food at the counter, and they brought it to our table.
Everything we ate was excellent. I personally ordered the chapli kabob, aushak, and mango lassi (they were out of the mango mule, which I really wanted to try). Everything was delicious that I was dancing in my seat.

I would drive out of my way to eat here and take my family here to enjoy dinner together, wow. I can’t wait to go back and try more stuff on the menu.

I have been to this place many times since they opened years ago and never thought to review the service or the food.
Well the food at Ziza Kabob is amazingly delicious. Every bite it full of bold spices and flavor! The menu has something for everyone.
The atmosphere is nice, inviting and family friendly.
The service is great as well. Every time I go to get a meal, Mohammad (the guy at the register) is always nice, friendly and greets everyone with a smile. Ziza Kabob never disappoints.

Don’t let the bland strip mall surrounding this restaurant fool you. The food from this restaurant is delicious. It is fresh and authentic. It is made with passion. You can also get a very filling chicken pea curry for around 7 dollars! With fresh made bread!!

Amazing food! True Indian spices make everything taste awesome. Plates are well served. The people working here are super nice. I highly recommend the mezze platter with hummus, babaganoush, and falafel.

I went to ZiZa Kabob for lunch and everything was amazing! The baba ganoush was smoky and creamy, the hummus was smooth and full of flavor, and the garlic naan was fresh, soft, and perfectly seasoned. The chicken kabob was juicy and perfectly grilled, tender on the inside with a nice char on the outside. I also loved the Kabuli rice, which paired beautifully with the kabob.
I ended with the rice pudding, and it was the perfect sweet finish, creamy, light, and not overly sweet. Every single dish tasted fresh and well-seasoned. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I had a great experience at Ziza Kabob from the moment I made the reservation to the moment we left. The whole process was smooth and stress-free, and the staff made us feel welcome right away. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was consistently attentive without ever feeling rushed.
The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every dish impressed my guests, and their happiness made the evening even better. A special thanks to Masood, who was incredibly friendly and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. His genuine hospitality truly stood out.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I will surely bring my guests again. Highly recommended!

Finally checked out Ziza Kabob for a first-time date night, and it was a total hit! Huge shoutout to the cashier who suggested the lamb kabob with chickpeas; they absolutely nailed the recommendation. The lamb was incredibly flavorful, the chickpeas were a standout side, and the naan was clearly fresh baked.
The restaurant’s aesthetics are beautiful. While the overhead lighting was a bit bright for my personal “date night” preference, the cute touch lamps at each table were a really nice detail that added some localized atmosphere.
One quick PSA for the community: Please stop stealing the number 7 from the tables! They are dedicated to the space, so let’s leave the decor where it belongs so everyone can enjoy the vibe.
Highly recommend this spot if you’re in the Jessup area!

ZiZa Kabob never disappoints! Whether you get the kabob or the wrap, the chicken is consistently juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. The Kadu (pumpkin dish) is a must-try—it’s like tasting fall in your mouth, no matter the season. My family and I love this place so much that we’ve eaten here multiple times in a single week! Beyond the food, the customer service is fantastic and always makes us feel welcome.

Went to Ziza off of a friends recommendation. Had to drive back an hour to get back home so I figured this is as good a place to eat as any. Place was absolutely packed for dinner – good sign. Ordered the lamb and chicken, wife has the lamb and beef, and dad had the salmon. This meal was incredible. Lamb, chicken and beef were grilled to perfection. Salmon was juicy and flavorful. The naan – fluffy brown carb cloud, salad – crisp and fresh, the rice – buttery sweet long grains. In the words of Anthony Bourdain (may he rest) “If you don’t risk the bad meal, you’ll never get the magical one.” This was that magical meal. Sure this is a meal, nourishment, calories, proteins, vitamins. It’s all those cerebral things, but it’s also artistic expression and a display of cultural pride. Ziza Kabob is excellent and I recommend it.
