We absolutely were thrilled to have found Zitos Greek Grill! The place is cute! The service was great and the food was even better! The only sad thing was that it’s about 8 hours from our home! Otherwise we would become regulars like family!
With having a gluten allergy they were accommodating for me and I had a delicious meal! Even gluten free pita bread! If you are in the area you must stop in and eat! You will NOT be disappointed! The amount of food for the price is amazing! I could go on and on! Oh wait did I tell you this is also owned by a young woman! Totally blown away with how good it was! ♥️ Will go back when traveling through again!

First trip to Zito’s today, 1/24/2026, pre-game before the big ice storm coming in! I’ve had a lot of Greek over the years, and Zito’s is the best I’ve had in the Piedmont of NC! I had the Chicken Souvlaki plate (chicken kabob, rice, lemon potatoes, Tzatziki sauce, and pita) and my wife had the Gyro with fries. Everything is made to order and came out hot and fresh! The rice and potatoes were very flavorful with a bright, lemon taste. Chicken souvlaki can often be a bit dry, but these were cooked pefectly – tender and moist! The tzatziki also had a nice lemon hint, making it the best tzatziki I’ve ever had! My wife was equally please with her Gyro, and of course I had to steal a couple fries which were perfect!. Our server (Keelee, I believe) did an excellent job and helped us choose desserts to take home and an 8 oz babaganoush for snacking during the impending storm. If you’ve seen comments talking about long waits for food, disregard them! As I said, everything is made to order and may take a couple minutes longer than places that cook ahead, but it is well worth it here! And really, it seemed pretty quick to me nonetheless! The restaurant is modern, bright, and very clean – even the restrooms! I usually avoid strip plaza restaurants, but the owners have done things really well. I look forward to returning in good weather and sitting outdoors! We definitely have a new favorite here in Mt. Airy, NC!

Our first time at Zitos! I had the baked spaghetti and hubby had the salmon over rice with salad, potatoes and pita, it was all delicious! The service was fast and the server was so nice and polite! They got the place decorated like Greece, and the music as well. We will be going back and taking friends and family with us! Definitely a 10/10!!

From the first bite, Zito Greek Kitchen made a strong case for me to come back. Everything I tried felt fresh, balanced, and genuinely satisfying without being heavy or overdone. The chicken souvlaki was the clear standout—tender, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. Absolutely fantastic experience From start to finish. The chicken Slovakia plate was perfectly cooked Tender, flavorful and just right With generous portions and delicious sides. The La Lux boat was another stand out Beautifully presented and bursting with incredible flavors that truly showcase the heart of Greek cuisine. Be on the food the restaurant Itself is stunning—bright and welcoming And beautifully designed they can get the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. What truly makes this place special though is Victoria, the owner. She is warm and attentive And genuinely passionate about creating an amazing experience for every guest. Her hospitality makes you feel like family the moment you walk in. Every dish appetizer we had Was wonderful, The atmosphere Was beautiful And the service exceptional. This restaurant is a true gem and I can’t wait to come back again and again.

This food was SO GOOD. I’ve been to Zitos when they were in Winston, but I love the mount airy location much better. Some of the recipes have definitely changed, but for the better! The food was reasonably priced, came out quickly, and was so delicious. I don’t even like leftovers, but I took my the rest of my food home and DEVOURED IT. Astronomically bussin.

Ordered the salmon which was $16 for this plate! So I said do I need a salad. She said it comes with a really good one. It was.
I asked for a side order of bread for $1.50. She said it comes with it.
I said I don’t like farm raised salmon. She said it’s wild caught….so I thought it would be small. It wasn’t.
I asked if I could sit outside as no one was out there. Of course she said! Her name (Keelee) by the way was outstanding.
I eat out a lot. This was a top 20 ever.
