I recently had lunch at this Japanese restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by how fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented everything was. I ordered a bento box that came with chicken stir-fry, rice, sushi rolls, and crispy gyoza. The chicken was tender and perfectly cooked, mixed with colorful vegetables like bell peppers and carrots that gave it a wonderful balance of flavor and texture.
The sushi rolls were light, fresh, and just the right size — paired nicely with wasabi and pickled ginger. The gyoza were golden and crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful inside, and went perfectly with the soy dipping sauce. Even the rice was fluffy and perfectly steamed — a small detail that made the whole meal come together.
The presentation of the bento box was clean and traditional, with each compartment thoughtfully arranged. The service was friendly and quick, and the atmosphere calm and welcoming — perfect for a quiet lunch or casual dinner.
Overall, this place delivers great quality, authentic Japanese flavors, and generous portions at a fair price. I will definitely return to try their other dishes. Highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys well-prepared Japanese cuisine!
It was my first time visiting this place. I love sushi and Thai food, and I’ve been to many different restaurants, so I wanted to try this one too.
Overall, I’d rate the food 3/5 and the staff 5/5.
The $20 sushi roll really disappointed me it fell apart and didn’t taste good. The Philadelphia cheese tasted low quality, and the soup was a bit sour.
However, the staff were friendly and tried their best, which I truly appreciate.
The hot tea for $4 was actually amazing that was the highlight of the meal.
Honestly, I didn’t expect the check to come out to $95 for such a simple-looking place. Free parking is available right next to the restaurant.
atmosphere. The staff seems to know many of the diners, usually a great
sign. To start with I had gyoza which was great, then I ordered Tom Yum soup which was ok but disappointed me a bit, it was barely spicy, with only 3
shrimps. Then I ordered Spicy Tuna Sushi which was excellent with good spiciness and fresh tuna.
I didn’t like the speed with which the dishes arrived and the speed with
which the empty plates were cleared- I felt like they wanted me to clear my
chair
From the moment you step inside, the elegant decor sets the stage for a fine dining experience at surprisingly reasonable prices. But the real star? The food. Every dish is crafted with precision—delicate, balanced flavors that enhance rather than overpower. The ingredients are fresh, and everything is cooked to absolute perfection.
Now, let’s talk dessert. I don’t typically indulge, but their Thai donuts with house-made dipping sauce? Pure heaven. Crispy, airy, and just the right amount of sweetness. Want to take it over the top? Pair it with vanilla ice cream—it’s a game-changer.
On top of all that, the service was impeccable—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. If you love Thai food (or even if you think you don’t), do yourself a favor and try this place. And if you don’t love it? I’ll gladly pay for your meal!
Some of our favorites items to order are PookPui Salad (Thai Green Papaya Salad on top of Iceberg), the Satay (both beef and Chicken are great!!), Rard Na (Thai Traditional wide noodles with pork and Chinese Broccoli gravy), and my absolute favorite is the Pad Thai (simple but flavorful and delicious!!). THEIR sushi are also excellent and always fresh!!
