I definitely recommend Zippy Lube on Sherman Ave. The decor is so cute and the prices are really reasonable. Definitely a hidden gem.

The fried chicken was amazing! So crunchy and juicy. Honestly some of the best chicken I’ve had in a while. Donuts were sublime too and so many options. Great coffee.

The building was formerly an auto mechanic shop, which explains the name and gives the place a unique, quirky style. I’d read rave reviews about their fried chicken sandwich and donuts, so I decided to stop by. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich ($9) and a chocolate cake donut with buttercream icing ($1.50).

The sandwich was excellent—the breading was thick and crunchy, which I really enjoyed. The cake donut was also delicious, with a rich chocolate flavor and smooth buttercream on top, and the price is reasonable.

There’s plenty of parking, a few outdoor tables with umbrellas, and some indoor seating as well. The staff behind the counter were super friendly and welcoming. If I’m in the area again, I’d definitely stop in for another fried chicken sandwich.

If you haven’t been here, what are you even doing?
Great food, great price and great service.

Let me start off by talking about their cauliflower “wings” because we went there for a chicken sandwich and these alternative chicken bites took over the show. We love trying new things and cauliflower bites aren’t anything I’ve ever cared for but now its definitely in our list.

The chicken sandwich is a must try, if you like the heat I recommend their spicy chicken sandwich. It is consistent with the flavor since the first time we ever got it.

To be completely honest We tried all their donuts when they first opened and we didn’t care for them, little too dry and very small selection.
I can tell you for a fact that wasn’t the case when we went recently. I completely regret not grabbing more passion fruit donuts and the strawberry chocolate donuts because they were definitely unique and full of flavor. Their donut selection doubled in size if not it tripled. Very happy to try the new flavors definitely need to go try all the other ones.

The only complaint I have is the large side portion of the mac and cheese is over priced. Unless they make their pasta from scratch that side is too small for $8.

Came here for the first time today super excited! Doughnuts were great and breakfast sandwiches were simple and tasty. However, if you’re a coffee person don’t expect greatness. We ordered a latte and a chai tea, both could certainly use work. The prices and atmosphere are great. Certainly would come back for food, but might hit another coffee shop on the way for drinks.

Ordered the original chicken sandwich, deep fried cauliflower, and a pina coloda donut. I liked the chicken sandwich alot. The cauliflower was okay and glad I tried it. It came with a zesty sauce. The donut was a cake like donut with pineapple frosting and topped with shredded coconut . Would go back for sure!

Got a 4 piece with mac n cheese and a side of mashed potatoes. Wanted to try it in the parking lot before I took it home. So fresh and tasty I was blown away. Every bite was so good I couldn’t leave without getting donuts to go. This place is a GEM

My wife and I stopped in today for lunch. I got the 2 piece chicken. She got the north side spicy chicken sandwich. We also tried the mashed potatoes with gravy and the mac n cheese. Holy smokes! Easily the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. The Mac n cheese was fantastic. Mashed potatoes and gravy were top tier. My wife said the chicken sandwich was SOOOO good. No funky weird pieces like you find in other sandwiches. Everything appears homemade, down to the pickles on the sandwich. So of course with the food being so good, we had to get some donuts to take home and guess what??!! Those are freakin delicious too. Sorry for the missing bites lol.

We will definitely be back!

What a happy little neighborhood spot! Small menu, but everything on it is great. Perfect for a little breakfast treat or a more substantial lunch. The spicy chicken sandwich is a must and the cake donuts have a great texture — little bit of crunch on the outside, soft and not dry on the inside, with just the right amount of sweetness. Viva la Zippy Lube!

So much fun! Love the concept. I had the breakfast sandwich, which was the perfect size. You didn’t walk out ready for a nap. Now, why they don’t offer fried chicken on a donut is beyond me. However, the gentleman working said they are looking to offer that soon. Next time I’m in town, I’ll definitely check back in.

What a cute spot! I love the decor inside. It was transformed from a place to get your oil changed to a coffee/donut shop. They have delicious coffee. I love the drip coffee with some oat milk, a little cinnamon, and caramel flavor. Their donut sandwich is to die for too. I like it with sausage or bacon and you choose between a sugar donut or a regular plain donut. The owner is a very kind person. Small, locally owned business!
