Who doesn’t love this west-side gem of an ice cream parlor??
Ordered a malt and a pineapple sundae and it not only looked delicious, it tasted delicious!
Topped it off with a cheese coney and it was a great treat. Best part- it was all about $12!

My kids love it, I love it, every single body on the west side loves it :).
But…I will say this. I know the people who live right next door and next to them, only complaint is not from the business but thr customers, they throw a lot of trash in those yards and I know they don’t like trash in their yard hahaha, but the business is 100/100 great place 🙂

Holy frozen perfection! If you haven’t made a pilgrimage to Zip Dip on Harrison Ave yet, you’re seriously missing out on the ULTIMATE summer indulgence. This unassuming roadside stand is serving up soft serve that will make your taste buds do backflips of pure joy!
Tonight’s orange vanilla twist cone was nothing short of life-changing – creamy beyond belief with the perfect balance of vibrant citrus and rich vanilla that dances across your palate with each lick. The texture is impossibly smooth and velvety, putting those chain ice cream places to absolute shame. I’m still dreaming about how that orange swirl perfectly complemented the vanilla in a symphony of flavor that had me contemplating ordering a second cone before I’d even finished the first.
What sets Zip Dip apart isn’t just their phenomenal ice cream – it’s the authentic, no-frills summer experience that transports you straight back to carefree childhood days. The friendly staff works with lightning speed even during the inevitable summer rush, proving that this place has mastered their craft through decades of delighting Cincinnatians.
Fair warning: once you’ve experienced Zip Dip, grocery store ice cream will forever taste like sad, frozen disappointment. This is THE essential summer destination in Cincinnati – just follow the trail of happy people clutching cones and wearing expressions of pure bliss. Your summer isn’t complete without at least weekly visits to this ice cream paradise!

Delicious frozen treats, cones, sodas. I am not from OH but stop here whenever my spouse returns home to visit. The ice cream here is creamy, sweet, and dense. You really can’t go wrong here. I enjoy a cherry soda with vanilla soft serve.

Great ice cream, fast service. Like most soft serve places, there is limited parking, but there is a small lot to the side of the shop and some street parking on Drew. They have all of the ice cream options you would expect at a soft serve place. It’s a West side staple!

Zip Dip is more than an ice cream stand. It is the pinnacle of the Cincinnati Creamy Whip and Dairy Bar experience. Its tradition and timelessness represents so much of what makes the Queen City feel like home to so many. When you stand in line, you feel connected to the community. And, when you take the first bite of your cone, you immediately understand how Zip Dip has stood the test of time. Its texture and flavor set the standard by which all soft serve should be judged. Zip Dip elevates the simple summer treat to something worth savoring.

I grew up in Cheviot in the 70’s and my family loved getting an ice cream treat here. Now when I bring my family to Cincinnati on a visit from NC, it has become one of the must stops on our trip back “home”!

What can I say about Zip Dip? I have been going here every summer since I was a child… when my dad would announce that we were going out for ice cream. If you’re lucky, park in the tiny lot surrounding this establishment. If you have to, park on one of the nearby side streets and trek to the counter–it’s worth every step you’ll have to take. Creamy and delicious soft-serve ice cream served to, and loved by, Westsiders for generations.
