THE CHITTERLINGS ARE NOT CLEANED!!!
I ordered through Doordash and they put my food in USED WALMART BAGS. I will be posting pictures for proof. This is unacceptable. I dont know maybe you’ll eat fatty griddy Chitterlings with black crap still on it in the South but up north we have standards & would never. I only know what unclean Chitterlings look like because I spent my whole life eating them cleaned the right way. This is the second restaurant in Georgia that’s served me unclean Chitterlings, making me think this is a norm down here. The greens were greens the rice was a little overcooked no seasoning. Didn’t even bother to open up the cornbread because at this point why? If they can serve Uncleaned food to their customers that just goes to show the level of the rest of the establishment. GLADLY got my $38 refund!!

Wanted some real home cooking, so we located this place. We actually drove by it and had to turn around. It’s located next to a convenient store, just these two businesses so parking is at the door very convenient. Man! So many choices of meat, and vegetables. You get to fix your own plate. They give you a to go box for the food but we ate there since we were from out of town. Food comes with cornbread. I had the fried chicken, rice with HOMEMADE brown gravy with onions, cabbage and mac and cheese.
Y’all!! One bite. And I knew. This was real homemade food. It was so good. And seasoned perfectly . I drank lemonade, sweet! I was too full to try the peach cobbler or the banana pudding. Wish I had got it to go, but I was so full I was in brain fog. That was lunch, I forgot to eat dinner later that day. Just full.

Indulgent goodness & humility Likely work late this TG, but been craving return visit, 90min excursion. Got to share home-style Southern cooking with others less fortunate.
Yes, yes, yes… my soul was dancing on the table tops. Who knew but my dear coworker, keeping this neighborhood secret gemstone of an eatery under wraps! The owner/chef was tremendously heart-warming in service. And we left smiling with joyful tummies. We tried everything on offer. Thank you for sharing the love of food– especially the yams with a real nice dash of cinnamon, pork chops seasoned perfectly, mac&cheese that oozed goodness, stewed chicken & giblets, tender beef and rich gravies, turkey wings, fried pork & chicken staples, savory meatloaf, baby riblets, buttery corn, and sweet tea/lemonade to boot. That peachy keen cobbler and banana pudding beats the new chain restaurants, save room.

Came from Griffin Ga. to try it out and baby everything was absolutely delicious hot and good and oh the customer service was most definitely on point I mean he made it felt like you was at your grandmas house for Sunday dinner both of the men made us really felt like we was eating and sitting at our family home having Sunday dinner. And the price was great. I tell you if you want that good old Sunday dinner like you use to have at your grandmas house please visit you won’t be disappointed not to mention it was our first time going and it most definitely won’t be the last. He actually welcomed us with open arms and again the food is very delicious and hot . Thank you for the great hospitality and the banana pudding was a 10 out of 10 prefect homemade yesss ❤️❤️❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was hands down some of the best Southern food I’ve ever had. The owner is a true legend and treats you like family from the moment you walk in. And let me tell you he will make sure you get two pieces of cornbread, because trust me, you’re going to wish you had another one when you leave He knows what he’s doing! The food is pure soul, full of flavor, and cooked with love. I absolutely love this soul food restaurant and will definitely be back. If you’re craving authentic Southern cooking that hits the spot, this place is a must try.

It was a beautiful Sunday in the A and I wanted some soul food when I left church. I took my son to another spot for Asian and I stumbled upon this hole in the wall gem.
I got the oxtails, collards and yams. My husband got beef ribs, Mac and cheese and string beans. All with rice . Everything was delicious. You fix your own plate , show the lovely cashier and she rings you up.
I definitely will go back.

Don’t be fooled by the location or no frills interior. The soul food will keep you coming back for more. The tasty turkey wings over rice and gravy, macaroni with lots of cheese, collard greens and cornbread is making my mouth water just thinking about it. You won’t be disappointed.

Mr. Earl did his big one with this place. I had chitterling, Mac and cheese, greens, and rice which was all amazing. The greens alone were seasoned so well. Definitely recommend. I would show a picture but my plate didn’t last long.
