This is a new to-go only pizza and pasta place close to UNT. It’s basically on the corner near where that Cowboy Curry place was. Zio Al’s pizza and pasta. It’s basically a to-go only place but the food was good. I got a Greek salad and some wings and the wings are country fried and have sauce on the side which is nice. I got them with mango habanero sauce. Very tasty. But damn look at how tiny that flapper is! Lol.

Zio Al’s has the best wings and pizza. Their spinach ricotta has me coming back for seconds. When it’s late at night and too tired to make dinner, Zio Al’s is my go-to. The workers and cook are very sweet. I’d recommend this place to anyone on campus or around the Denton area!

They also have other delicious items like the za’atar and cheese wrap, the tasty Akkawi cheese sandwich, and halal meat options that you can add to your pizza if you like. This gives you many choices to enjoy.
The place is very clean and beautiful, and it makes you feel comfortable when you visit.
I truly think this restaurant deserves a try. I highly recommend visiting and tasting their wonderful pizza yourself.

The chicken parmesan and chicken alfredo were amazing! If you order something definitely, you absolutely must, get the garlic cheesy bread. The garlic cheesy bread is perfectly seasoned. I wasn’t really feeling too hungry but I couldn’t stop myself from demolishing the entire plate. The portions are at a good size to fill up your stomach!

First time was really good, second time was a disappointment. Pretty big one as it was my last cash too ordered cheese pizza and basically just got heaps of cheese. Extremely little to no sauce? Felt more like cheesesticks then pizza.cheese also easily fell off which happened on a few completely. Sad about this time

Tried this place out for the first time last night and I cannot stress enough how absolutely devine their pizza is! Its so nice to have a local owned pizza chain that not only has immaculate character and great customer service, but has pizza that actually tastes like it was made by someone who cares about what they are serving. I got a half chicken alfredo/ half classic split and I honestly couldn’t tell you which one I enjoyed more. They’ve got new regulars in us and I can’t wait to try something new next time!
