Today I had the pleasure of trying out this spot for the first time, they met my expectations when it came to the taste of the carne asada. It had a very good Smokey flavor that should be in all carne asada. The lady at the register was very kind she even gave me a small sample which was pretty much a small taco I was very grateful for that. Over all food was great and customer service was exceptional! Only thing I would suggest to work on is the salsa, if you can have the red salsa from king taco, orange salsa from tacos Los poblanos, white cream salsa for the pastor tacos from taconazo (known in the U.S. as Tijuanazo located in east LA), and the pico de gallo from Sonoratown , and the green salsa from Sonoratown, I think it would enhance the tacos and burritos they offer here. The tlacayo was flavorful my 1 year old son enjoyed it. I will be coming back

El Sereno understood the assignment
Stopped by Zingo Tacos for a laidback taco run and honestly… every bite hit. Crispy tripa, juicy asada, and an al pastor quesadilla loaded with flavor.
The Zingo Bowl with pollo = comfort food mode activated. And don’t skip the handmade tlacoyo — black beans, salsa, onion, and cheese done the right way.
Lowkey spot. Big flavor energy.

his is one of those LA spots you’re glad to find. I love their asada here, they really do it right. Some places the asada can be dry, overcooked, and on the crispy side but here that’s not the case. Slow cooked, soft bite and rich with flavor that’s how they makes it here. Good tacos and burritos. The quesadilla is really good here too. They do know what they’re doing and I definitely want to come back here again.

Found this spot randomly and so glad we did. Zingo Tacos in El Sereno is solid all around — fresh tortillas, flavorful meats, and generous portions.
Everything we tried was well-seasoned and hit the spot. Simple, casual, and exactly what you want from a good taco place. We’ll definitely be back.

Fantastic little mom-and-pop spot. Super fresh, farmers-market-quality ingredients and really high-quality meats—you can taste the difference. On my first visit the owner treated me like family and gave a special treat, which made the whole experience even better. Area is safe and inside dining is spotless with a nice patio. Definitely coming back again. Best in LA!

First off, the food is good! I’ve had the asada tacos and they taste great. I just had a Zingo bowl and it was so tasty: asada, rice, beans, avocado, and grilled onions. I had it with a side of tortillas and salsa. The carne was so tasty and the bowl was great.
Also, the customer service is warm, friendly, and welcoming here. I definitely recommend coming!

I found Zingo while running errands for work, because it’s not located where you might normally go. After trying it the other day I’ve been craving it and went back again. The meat has a delicious smoky flavor and it’s just delicious. I’ve had burritos so far but I definitely will go by again to try out the rest of the menu. Plus the people I’ve met working there are very kind and it feels like the kind of restaurant you want to support because it’s run by real great folks. Highly recommend!

Delicious tacos with actual guacamole on them and a generous amount of meat for under $3 each is crazy to me, especially at a brick and mortar location.Incredible bang for your buck. Highly recommended!

Tried it for the first time today. They welcomed me like if I was family. Got a asada burrito and within that first bite, I knew I’d be coming back. It tasted like a home cooked meal! Definitely going to try the other options they have.
