The food was ok. Ordered fried rice for the base, and it was dry and lacking flavor. The cashew chicken was good and it’s a very cool environment in there. Seems like there are aiming to be a higher end Panda Express. The staff was very nice and offered a free app for us to try. Another plus, they offer an outdoor seating patio for those nice days.

Well, I wasn’t a huge fan of the orange chicken sauce. It is white chicken. Better quality than Panda, but definitely far less tasty sauce, or maybe it was just under sauced. My wife says it was better another time she went.

Good service.

Beautiful layout and nice seating. I think the outdoor seating would be fun sometime in the summer.

First time here and will definitely be back. Staff was very pleasant and speedy. Food was amazing. It’s hard to find vegetarian options especially flavorful ones and they delivered. The Boba teas from Liquid Zing were fresh and delicious. I had a chance to speak with the manager when he checked in on us and I am very excited for the upcoming growth of Zing!

So, a new place called Z!ng opened up on falls drive and I visited with a friend the other day. Unfortunately the one thing that kept banging around in my head while I was eating was the question “how are they going to differentiate themselves from Panda Express?” The store itself is a well-lit, casual atmosphere that presented a nice clean place to eat. I would say the food was just okay. I got a 2 entree a plate, a spring roll appetizer, and drink. I got the Bulgogi Beef and the Orange Flower which is fried cauliflower with the orange chicken sauce. So right away there are dishes that they serve that are different than Panda Express and they were good in their own right. I just don’t know that they are rising above what a place like Panda Express has to offer. My friend was not impressed with the spiciness level and didn’t think anything that he got was very spicy hot at all (he was expecting what he ordered to be spicy). The store also has a beverage side called Liquid Z!ng that serves boba smoothies and other drinks. My friend got a mango smoothie and did enjoy the drink. I definitely need to visit this place again and check out some of the other appetizers before I make my final determination but this is where I am after one visit.

Had Zing for dinner tonight and it was just ok. I ordered a base with 2 entree which was a reasonable price. It reminds me of Panda Express which Im not a fan of. For my entrees I had Kung Pao chicken and General Tso. The Kung Pao was ok and the spice level was good. The General Tso just reminded of Buffalo Wild Wing boneless wings, nothing special about the flavor. The crab Rangoon didn’t have much flavor. I like that this is locally owned and I will be back to try some other dishes.

Clean and uplifting environment! Menu has vegetarian options. Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about the flavors of the dishes that are inspired from other countries. They provide outdoor seat and also has a private more intimate seating space inside the restaurant. There also is the fresh Liquid Zing that offers, Coffee, Boba, Smoothies, Tea and more! We will definitely be back in the near future!

I tried the “Liquid Zing” which is located right next to the food variant of Zing. Let me say, the drink was fantastic! I first ordered a pina colada slushy with kiwi boba and it was incredible. The drink had an incredible amount of flavor and the popping boba really hit the spot. If you are looking for a great smoothie, frappe or tea this is the new place to go.
I also tried the Zing restaurant and was very impressed. I ordered through the mobile ordering and picked it up. One of the workers was so kind that she waited until I got there so it can be warm and fresh. The service was very fast and only took about 2 minutes to pack up my order. The owner was actually there and was also very nice and talkative! I ordered the base + 1 entree with the “Yum Yum” sauce. I like that you have an option for sauce. My entree I chose was the Kung Pao Chicken! The chicken was probably one of the best I have had from take out asian! It was fresh and very tasty. I also enjoyed the chow mein, I poured some of the Yum Yum sauce on it and it was even better! I would go here over Panda Express any day. I hope they do good business and stay open because it is one of my favorites.

This place is beautiful. Sleek, modern, clean. Staff was very friendly and fully willing to make whatever we wanted completely fresh. They were also very helpful with the menu and offered samples to help us decide. The food was SO good. Panda move out of the way. Zing has better fresher ingredients for the same price. Definitely will be back to check out the patio and the boba.

They are like a better Panda! We have gotten it a few times now and have loved the food every time! The Cashew Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, and Mongolian Beef are super saucy and have lots of veggies! We always get half chow mein, half veggies for a more nutritionally dense meal.

2 out of 4 times we had to pull up and wait for Kung Pao Chicken to be made but they offered us a free appetizer sampler for the wait! Everything in the sampler was also delicious! One thing I would like to mention is they always seem to forget the small carton for my 3rd entree but the last time I went back in to ask for it, the worker was super apologetic and gave me a medium size instead of the standard small! The wait in the drive-thru is totally worth it 10/10 would recommend.

AmaZ!NG flavor. The Kung Pao Chicken is my go-to. Good amount of heat, fresh veggies and perfectly cooked (all white meat ) chicken. Highly recommend the hot and sour soup too. But most importantly, I have to mention how friendly the staff and owners are. They really care about their customers and hold their product to a very high standard. This is a local restaurant I am very proud to support. Update: Really enjoyed the Teriyaki Chicken Bowl they added to their menu. Great deal for the price.
