Absolutely love Zimo – I come here just about every week! I love boba and they also have food and pastries here. The staff is also really friendly. My top recommendation: A lychee green tea with a custard buns to snack on!

I’m only in the area for some security classes but after lunch at grape leaf I came next door to Zimo and got the Dirty Brown Sugar Bubble Tea. It was the best boba I’ve ever had. Be back for tomorrows lunch break

Super good buns and Thai tea [when extra half and half or condensed milk is added], thank you! I really loved the custard bun, strawberry stick, taro mochi bun, and the garlic butter stick with cheese. The pork floss and green onion bun was yummy but a bit too much pork floss for my taste, it was perfect after I removed some. All of my friends were happy to add that extra meat to their pork floss buns so I’m just the weird one lol I also really enjoyed the Oreo cream cheese bun other than the very middle tastes lie cheesecake which I’m not a fan of, my friends who like cheesecake gladly devoured the middle of mine while I ate the outer ring. The cream cheese 3-section bun was pretty good, it almost tasted like cheesecake but not quite. All of the food tasted and felt so fresh, it was wonderful!

I dined in and got the garlic spaghetti with shrimp which was really good, but the shrimp was very overcooked to the point of being chewy. My Thai Tea with boba was really good as well. They have a wide array of baked goods, some I bought and shared with others later today. The egg tart was my favorite. However, they closed unexpectedly at 12:45pm without explanation and I was essentially kicked out of the dining room after I just spent $50 on their products and took a $27 uber ride to get there. I just arrived to Tampa and I had planned to be there longer because their listed closing time was 8pm. I needed somewhere to wait for my ride to pick me up later that afternoon and was even going to buy another drink while I waited. I would possibly try again when I am back in Tampa but not a pleasant first experience.

I can’t believe I haven’t written a review on Google about this place yet. Zimó is amazing! It’s a family and Asian owned business that is near MD Oriental Market and next door to First Choice BBQ. It’s the shopping center on Falkenburg and Adamo. You’ve been living under a rock if you haven’t been there yet. Especially if you love Asian food. It’s seriously a best kept secret as well as a hidden gem.
