Whoever the owner/District manager of this store is needs to be fired immediately. The staff is amazing and drinks are great but this poor girl closing alone is throwing up constantly. Not only is forcing someone to work when they’re sick a slimy thing to do BUT at a food place? How many safety violations does that break? I know for a fact there is a higher up that can come and cover and just won’t do it. I guess whoever is in charge is just completely incompetent. I would give a million stars for this girl closing though.

I usually love this ziggis and ziggis has been my go to for years. I have been debating on sharing this because I don’t want to come off a certain way. Me and my boyfriend had gone to ziggis a couple weeks ago for national root beer day (Wednesday at 10:30am) and brought some change for a drink (quarters and as someone who has worked in customer service, I know it’s not ideal, but we had the quarters organized and specifically picked clean quarters too). When we got there, my boyfriend handed them the quarters and they responded with “really?” To my boyfriend and then proceeded to shout “is this chill? Is this chill? Is this chill?” Across the store (customers in the store I’m sure heard) to their coworker/potential manager. As they were counting the change, we tried to get their attention numerous times to remind them that it was root beer float day making the drink $1.50. They ignored us entirely so they counted all of the change and when we told them, they said “oh my God” and recounted it. They also asked us how much was in the bag ($12.50) and weren’t even going to count it until one of their coworkers told them they had to. Me and my boyfriend were really frustrated and in disbelief by this behavior and it took a lot from both of us to hold back our words. When they said “oh my God,” we told them to just keep the change because we didn’t want to deal with that situation anymore. Instead, they gave us $3 back and dropped it into my boyfriends hands causing some of it to land under the car so we couldn’t grab it and realistically only got $1. As someone who has worked in customer service, I understand how quarters are frustrating to count. But also, we simply had enough to get a drink and wanted to enjoy it. That being said, this situation has made me extremely uncomfortable to come back and I have been going to a whole different coffee shop due to this. I hope they can be held accountable for their behaviors. Thank you for taking your time to hear me out/respond.

This used to be my go to Ziggi’s location, up until earlier this year. We couldn’t figure it out but it seems there are new owners. The new owners have seemed to obliterate the staff moral, they’re all miserable here and they weren’t prior to the new owners. Seems to be correlation between the staff hating their lives and the new owners. Coffee is fine, but I mainly came to this location because the staff was always to kind and seemed to really love their job, but ever since the change, almost all of the old staff is gone. I loved that they used local pastries but I ended up switching coffee shops, a shame that I had to pivot due to management changes.

95% of the time I love this location. Staff are friendly, provide great suggestions and are professional and positive when they are super busy. Which in many coffee shops is never a guarantee.
However, twice now in the afternoons, both 30-40 minutes before closing time I received an atypical response. Once on a Saturday – “sorry we’re not making blended drinks today”. When the blenders had clearly been used, washed and were drying on the counter. And then a different time I asked for a sandwich and was told that they couldn’t give me make a sandwich because “the ovens have been turned off because we’re closing in 40 minutes”. Hmmmm….
