The cold brew was good. My oat milk latté was alright. The oat milk tasted a little off but the espresso seemed to be of good quality when I made it to the bottom of the cup. I like the espresso beans they leave as treats on your coffee. I’ll probably buy a bag of them next time. The staff is really great here. We were curious about the logo and one of the baristas explained that it’s coffee stirrers swirling the milk/coffee into a Z. We won’t be replacing our normal coffee spot but it was nice to have a place to go while we were in Ankeny. We’ll definitely try their sodas and energy drinks at some point. They seemed like huge sellers while we were there!

The rain put a damper on my work so stopped for a great cup of coffee and warm cinnamon bun. I was welcomed as soon as I walked in, washrooms were modern and clean and the atmosphere was great. Staff was friendly and heard them referring to customers on a first name basis. Great job at this location.

This was my first visit to Ziggis to grab an iced latte. It was delicious! The reason I wanted to write a 5 star review was because the lady working the drive through window was the nicest and most pleasant person I have interacted with in awhile! If you’ve been following me you’ve noticed that I make coffee stops around the Des Moines area. Today was my first visit to the Ziggi’s at 18th and Irvinedale in Ankeny, and I gotta say it was a 5 star visit. Usually a pretty busy place, but on this early afternoon I was 2nd in line at the drive-up. Couple minutes later I was greeted my an enthusiastic employee on the speaker who took my order of a plain decaf coffee with cream and sugar. Waited no more than a minute for the car in front of me to get their order, and I was at the window. VERY pleasant young lady, and we completed my purchase quickly.
The coffee was excellent, and if you drink decaf, you that that ordering at a new place can be risky. The coffee was smooth, and didn’t have that metallic or bitter taste of some decafs.
So, 5 stars for Ziggis, and here’s a shot of me enjoying the coffee with a fine road song.

Second time here! I ordered an Iced Salted Caramel with almond milk. To ensure customer safety only 15 people are allowed at a time. The tables are spaced out so customers can work on their laptops distanced from others. Staff is friendly and welcoming! Definitely my go-to in Ankeny!

my drink is always delicious and never too bitter or too sweet, this place has never done me wrong. the place is always clean, the staff is always ready to go. i love coming here & even the smoothies are a banger. the gluten free options are so good too.
i recommend this place for everyone! i am upset that there has been construction blocking off partial access to ziggis, but its worth the detour every time. go to ZIGGIS!
