Zia’s opened in June of 2000 and quickly became a local favorite for our generous pasta dishes, home-style Italian meats, chicken, fish, and large pizzas. Located at The Docks, it also made it easy for delivering great Italian food to boats as they made a quick stop along the Maumee River. Zia’s has a fun and festive atmosphere, featuring a stone water fountain in the main dining room and a side room decorated to feel like a cozy, personal library. Aged garlic strands, Chianti bottles and twinkling lights hang from the ceiling, and even a clothes line strung up in the great window, are all designed to provide the sensation of being transported to a small family village in Italy. This is fine dining, in a casual, relaxed atmosphere.
Eatery for Italian entrees, modern pizzas, oversized pasta dishes, fresh catches & happy hours.

I used to frequent here back in 2008/09 often when I lived in Toledo and it always had a great happy hour. Fast forward decades later and still rings true! Quick visit after the casino at the bar for an Italian Marg and some apps. Great service and still a fun atmosphere. Our service was great and friendly. $44 for 2 drinks a beer 3 apps and a veg pizza which was awesome!

The food and service is always amazing. That said, I love the atmosphere at Zia’s – the servers are never in a rush to get you out and turn another table. What a nice relaxing dinner and share time with loved ones, and not being rushed. Love it and will always continue to go back.

Tried Zia’s on my my MIL suggestion. Very nice fun place dockside on the Maumee River in Toledo. Tuesday at 6pm was not crowded yet the kitchen was spot on. Service was fast and friendly and the waitress made good suggestions. The food was very good and we will definitely eat here again. We are very good home cooks so we only eat out if it’s worth the money.

Best happy hour in town! Zia’s never disappoints. Olivia was our server and she was on point. She was so attentive, friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and professional. She made our experience even better. We enjoyed a couple of pizzas, meatballs, and cocktails for happy hour and we were extremely impressed! Highly recommend!

We’ve just moved to Toledo temporarily, and everyone has been recommending this restaurant, so we decided to give it a try for dinner. The restaurant is quite spacious with outdoor seating, and it’s beautifully decorated. We started with the antipasto salad, which was on the smaller side and topped with diced chicken—an interesting twist. My husband ordered the lasagna, which he enjoyed, while I had the chicken parmesan with spaghetti. The chicken was great, but the spaghetti was a bit bland. Our server, Olivia, was incredibly sweet and attentive, making our meal even more enjoyable.

This was our first visit to Zia’s, and we chose it to celebrate a birthday dinner. The food was absolutely exceptional—flavorful, well-prepared, and truly memorable. I highly recommend it.
However, what truly elevated the evening was our server, Grace. To say she was a delight would be an understatement. Her professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine warmth made the entire experience outstanding. She went above and beyond to ensure our evening was special, and because of her, we will absolutely be returning—and requesting Grace again.
Zia’s is fortunate to have such a gem on their team. Thank you, Grace, for making our night so memorable. Please tell your mom we said hello!

I dealt with the GM Marc, with a large party of 30 people, and Zia’s was amazing. The service, staff, and food was amazing, and very quick. They were easy to work with, and this is our second time coming to the restaurant. It was great food and cannot wait to go back.

Overall 3.9/5. Didn’t love it, didn’t hate it. Food was a step above olive garden. Prices were 2 steps above. My wifes sausage and peppers were the best part. The chicken marsala was watery, and the sauce should have been thicker. Limited menu with no steak options. The appetizer was good. The berry sangria was the best sangria that I’ve tasted, but after drinking a whole pitcher, I didn’t have a buzz. Service was phenomenal and atmosphere was good. I don’t know if I will come back or save $50 and just go eat at olive garden.

Arriving at Zia’s my husband and I were met by a friendly receptionist who sat us promptly. After being seated we were greeted by Derek, our waiter, who was very attentive and cared for us with professionalism and charisma.
Our appetizer of prosciutto bruschetta and dishes, rigatoni and chicken marsala were perfectly cooked and seasoned, plated in a very appealing manner. We highly recommend!

First time visiting this restaurant. As you would expect the wait staff was friendly and we were seated relatively prompt. The inside of this restaurant has a really nice aesthetic and it’s located on the river. The food itself was pretty good. The chocolate cake is definitely not a cake it’s a chocolate brownie.
