Came here for a birthday dinner. We got there around 630 pm, not super busy for a Friday. We had an amazing waitress (Aurora!). She was attentive but not overly. She made us laugh, made good small talk. We ordered two appetizers, a pizza, couple drinks and a bottle of wine. Everything was amazing! There was a small delay on the pizza but with good communication from our waitress, I didn’t think it was delayed much. I would recommend if you like a cozy Italian atmosphere in NW Ohio.

Excellent food, great prices, fantastic servers, gorgeous location, an incredible ambience. So why a two-star review. Because of a stupid idea by management that left a bad taste in everyone’s mouth. Raise your prices by 3% they are all VERY reasonable anyway. But don’t put a 12×12 sign at the front of the restaurant whining about about why you need to charge customers an extra 3% not on the menu.

Food was just okay, I tried their chicken Alfredo. It was pretty basic. The views were great as we went later at night, sat outside and a concert was happening so the river scene was nice. The inside of the restaurant is very unique and inviting. If wee decide to go back we discussed trying the pizza next.

Nice atmosphere with Chianti bottles hanging from the ceiling. Had the sangria, calamari, house salad, chicken marsala, and pizza. The Kalamata Buttered bread is a Fave. Take advantage of the promotional birthday, gift cards, and happy hour. Food is top quality ingredients and always tasty. Service is decent. Great Riverview boardwalk in Warm months. Main Street knows the Restaurant Business.

So the evening before we did Mancy’s Italian Grille. We were satisfied and content with the level of skill and the service there… Then after looking for paint and all that we come to Zia’s for dinner. I would say after experiencing both, that little old toodly doo also known as Toledo, HANDS DOWN… has the best Italian themed eateries between Detroit AND Cleveland. Now. On to my review.i ordered fried ravioli and my lady had a vegetable pizza. First off, their presentation is totally 2nd to none. See the attached pics. Next, even for an appetizer this simple, the textures, the condiment sauces, garnishments… I tasted everything in them. Amazing! Even the side salad was surprisingly delicious. The main dish totally exceeded my expectation. I had more ravioli in a buttery garlicky sauce with a grilled salmon steak atop it. The fish was so tender yet grilled with a crisp edge. It was cooked perfect. The service was amazing. It’s the smaller more personable restaurants that give the best experiences. This one holds totally true to that notion. Our waitress was patient and treated us like old friends. This place rocked. We spent $80plus but it was totally worth it. More actually. I’ve paid more for considerably less. Great value and everything else. Totally unsolicited but well earned 5 STARS. Toledo has 2 of the best Italian eateries in the region.

Beautiful interior, scratch kitchen, extremely friendly and attentive wait staff, and value for money spent. Went for an anniversary dinner and we got the tiramisu as a free dessert, which they brought a lit candlerabra out with. The chicken marsala was cooked perfectly with a delicious sauce, lasagna Bolognese with flavorful and yet not too heavy with a lovely bechamel sauce, and of course the fried calamari was some of the freshest I’ve ever had with a sauce to die for. Our waitress gave us cool facts about surrounding area, and someone who was there since the opening possibly the owner greeted us and told us about the hanging wine bottles. Oh! And also very nice Craft Cocktails!

Pesto was fabulous and loved the eggplant parmigiana. Atmosphere is nice for a dinner date or if you want to go with a group of friends. Location on the river for inside outside dining. Prices very reasonable. I would highly recommend this place.

Overall, we were not impressed. The atmosphere is great. The service was adequate, considering that our waitress was pretty overwhelmed (there were only 2-3 other waiters running around, and there were several large groups in the restaurant).
