Tried this hot pot spot for the first time , it had authentic Chongqing style flavor, but honestly it was a bit pricey for the portions you get, and spicier than I can comfortably handle. If you’re curious though, you can always try it for yourself. While the service was good, I think they do need to up their game if they want to stay competitive in the area.

Came in with a party of 4 and were seated immediately. Restaurant is on the smaller side compared to other hotpot places. You order your dishes via a QR code/website. Service was quick and everyone was so friendly; you do mostly have to flag down the staff if you need anything. Sauce bar is super small, but has all of the essentials. Food was fresh and tasty! If you want your broth spicier, you can ask for them to add more peppers to the pot. They have fans that blow into the seating area to help with ventilation, so it can get a little chilly! I would recommend bringing a sweater if you get cold easily. Also, note that they only validate 1 parking ticket per table.

These are the size of $9 beef and $17 goose intestine. Just a comparison, $17 can buy a pound of Chinese bbq pork in nearby other restaurants. The minimum tip is 15%, based on the price after tax. (The cashier told me that is the rule of Philadelphia) Also, no service at all. And the restaurant is COLD.

I lived in Flushing in NYC for five years and used to get hot pot there all the time, and this was the first time I’ve gotten it since I moved to Philly. After looking at multiple places in the area, I took myself and 7 of my friends here for my birthday dinner, none of whom had ever tried hot pot before, and I could not be happier with my choice.
I made a reservation ahead of time due to the size of our group, and they actually gave us a private room upstairs! I wish I’d taken pictures, but the food and atmosphere and service were so wonderful that I was too distracted eating and having an amazing time.
We got one of each type of broth, and all of them were amazing! The tomato broth is an excellent choice for people who really don’t want spice, it was very mild but still flavorful! Don’t be fooled by the name, it’s not a tomato broth like you might assume, it’s not like a tomato soup, it’s a slightly sweet and slightly acidic tomato-infused broth with lots of delicious veggies floating in it. The spicy broths were all very spicy, but the spiciest one was the best, even if I did cry a little after trying it! My two friends who got the spiciest broth are self-proclaimed spicy-food-lovers, and even they were winded by it. Everyone agreed that the amazing flavor was well worth a little frantic fanning of mouths and water drinking. It’s going to be both the spiciest and most delicious food you’ve had in ages.
We ordered an assortment of items: 5 meat items, 8 veggie items, 2 bowls of egg fried rice, and 10 drinks. There’s a base charge of about $20 per pot; the meat items ranged from $7-10 a piece, and the vegetarian items were all around $4. Our total came out to $190 after taxes and the 4% credit card fee, and then we tipped 20% on top of that, so the full total for all 8 of us was about $220. Less than $30 a person! Everyone was so full by the end but was actively complaining about wishing they could eat more bc of how good the food was!
The egg fried rice was INCREDIBLE, I would genuinely come back here just for that. All of the hot pot items we ordered were incredibly fresh, and the portion sizes were very good!
The staff were very friendly and kind with all us newbies. The English proficiency varied per employee, but everyone was so helpful and patient even when we struggled to understand each other. I can’t imagine a better place I could’ve picked to introduce so many of my friends to hot pot. We’re already planning on coming back!!!

Very authentic Chongqing hot pot—one of my favorite restaurants in Philly! That said, if you’re into P.F. Chang’s style food, this might not be the place for you. But if you’re looking for a truly authentic Chinese hot pot experience, this is 100% the place to go.

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this hot pot restaurant. The food quality was awful—ingredients were not fresh, the meat had a strange smell, and the vegetables looked like they had been sitting out for too long. The broth was overly salty and tasted artificial, making the entire meal almost inedible.
The service was just as disappointing. The staff was rude, inattentive, and slow. We had to wait a long time for our orders, and when we asked for help, they acted as if we were bothering them. On top of that, they messed up our order multiple times and didn’t even bother to apologize.
The worst part was the restaurant’s hygiene. The tables were sticky, the floor was covered in food scraps, and the utensils didn’t seem properly cleaned. Even the restroom was filthy, which made me seriously question the overall cleanliness of the place.
I would never come back to this restaurant, and I strongly advise others to avoid it. There are plenty of better options out there—don’t waste your time and money here!

i wanted to try somewhere new in the city, and will definitely come here again. super cozy vibe, feels like home. honestly, i prefer this type of hotpot to a buffet style place. the menu system and overall service was very suitable for an introverted person like me, and the staff was kind. 10/10 food!! the spicy soup is no joke!!! i especially enjoyed the fried rice. the portions are great and had me satisfied. i can’t wait to come back!
