Really fresh fish but I feel like the rolls are very average considering the Manhattan prices. Go for the lunch specials or a poke bowl instead of singular rolls and you’ll get your money’s worth.

I’ve tried a handful of sushi spots in the city, and Zest is by far my favorite. I’ve ordered for delivery and dined there — both have been exceptional. The sushi is fresh, the staff is kind, and the vibe is perfect. More of a coffee house vibe, which in my mind is way better than anything else. I’m sad I can’t frequent it as often now that I live in Brooklyn, but I always make a point to come into the city for this spot.

On April 9, 2023 gone with my friend to this restaurant during Happy Hour. We othered Jalapeño Wing, bottle of Sake “Yuki Nigori Lychee”Edamame, Shrimp Shumai, Salmon, Tuna, Eel Avocado, California, Alaska Sushi’s. There are selections of wines, Sake & Beer. The food was delicious. Our server was wonderful. Excellent service from the staff. Highly recommended to eat here with family, friends! Will definitely return. Thank You! Everyone Bon Appetite! Food was good, I liked the poke bowl even though my husband was the one that ordered it. It’s premade so we didn’t add or take away any ingredients to ours. The sushi combo comes with a soup or salad.

This place has become my favourite sushi spot in New York city! They just tick all the boxes in terms of food quality, service and the vibe. I went there for lunch on my wife’s birthday and everything was perfect. Although we wanted to sit outdoors but they were really busy so we had to sit inside. The service was great the food doesn’t take long to order. They also have a great happy hour menu which starts from 4:30 to 7 pm. Make use of their happy hour menu its a bargain. I ordered 2 of the crispy sushi thingy! just ask the server they know what you’re looking for. The octopus tentacle was very good and also the crab salad. The portions are perfect for sharing so i got to taste everything. The beef fried rice is also very good. I will definitely return again to try different items.

The happy hour special was great! We also got sake during the special. The sushi’s were not absolutely perfect looking but the service was fast and the food was delicious! Recommended to go by a friend who had gone many times already, great place!

Tasty but a tad overpriced. Also a bit too much mayo in the rolls. Given the many excellent sushi places in NY, it may be a while before I go back. Service is excellent.
