Wow! This place is great. We enjoyed our meal so much and the dessert- it was out of this world. Chocolate torte- was so fudgy delicious it’s hard to believe it was vegan. Love the house made ginger beer as well. It may be a vegan place, but really it’s just really good food and you won’t miss anything in your meal.

My wife has Celiacs and we were very excited to find a fully gluten-free dining option. It’s vegan, so no real meat or cheese. It was much better than we expected but the main thing was that my wife got to thoroughly enjoy her mealwithout worry! Service and atmosphere were great!

Visiting SLC and was thrilled to find many Vegan options. Among my favorite thus far and on the healthier vegan side I found Zest. The Vegan Carpaccio and Super Plant Power Salad were divine. I finished things off with some nachos and the tastiest chocolate hazelnut torte. Chance my server was attentive, thoughtful, and sat at eye level with me to take my order. Never had a server do that, the eye level connection allowed for a more genuine interaction. Highly recommend Zest, ask for Chance!

Had a good meal here. This is our second time here and the pizzas never disappoint. The jackfruit is well prepared and is not sweet in any way and has a great texture. Our waiter was super nice, but it felt like he forgot about us by the end of the night with too much else going.

It has been a month and I’m still upset enough to write a review. We got a “fruit salad” to bring to thanksgiving dinner. We weren’t really sure what to expect since we couldn’t find photos. For $90 I expected wayyyy better than what looks like $20 salad at most. But the worst part was the transaction. When the man handed me the scanner to pay it was on the tip screen automatically was about to add I think $25. It was awkward as he sat and watched me. I had not seen the salad yet and was in a good mood and always like to support local so I left $10. When I got in the car I opened the container and my jaw dropped at what a lackluster salad I saw. THEN I looked at my receipt and noticed I was charged an automatic gratuity BEFORE even being asked for a tip. I can’t express how angry I am that the guy didn’t mention there was already a tip added as he watched me add a tip. Also no explanation to me about the “comp”, which is why it all feels so scammy. No salad to ever exist for this place is worth $105. And no one deserves $25 tip for handing me a salad. What a scam.

Great gluten free options. The nachos were incredible, and my wife was skeptical that they were vegan. We are still not sure because they tasted amazing! Staff was nice. Seating and meal readiness was outstanding for a Saturday dinner. I advise not to park in the lot just north of the restaurant. That place is sketchy. The reverse osmosis water accented the meal in such a way! Apparently this is a type of water purification that uses a semi-permeable membrane to separate water molecules from other substances.

The inside of the restaurant is nice, but the food was not good. I am vegetarian, and you are so much better off just going to a regular restaurant and ordering something that doesn’t have meat. The pasta was so bad I ate like 2 bites and just threw away the leftovers. I have no idea what the sauce was supposed to be, but it even smelled bad. I don’t know if I caught them on an off night or if the people leaving sparkling reviews are just lying. Either way, $40 wasted so I won’t be back.

Nachos were good. Stuffed mushrooms and jalapeño poppers tasted a bland and a bit odd, definitely not good though.
The Thai curry dish was… not good either. The rice was edible, but vegetables were super bland and soggy or overcooked.
The drinks were well done though.

We came here mainly because of the 2,000+ great reviews. For context, we are neither vegan nor gluten-free, but we were curious to try it.
I want to say upfront that I respect what this restaurant is doing and why many people love it. However, personally, I just didn’t quite “get” the food. The flavors and textures were very different from what I’m used to, and they weren’t really within my expectation of what food typically tastes like.
One note for families: my daughter ordered the kids’ Alfredo pasta, and it was surprisingly spicy. quite spicy for a kids’ dish. That caught us off guard.
We also found it a bit pricey for our experience.
This place may be great for people who are committed to vegan and gluten-free cuisine or specifically seeking this style of food. But if you’re someone more like us with more traditional tastes, it might not be the best fit.
