We stopped into Zephyr Cove when we were staying at the casinos in South Shore, both to get something to eat and to check out the area in general. Overall, there’s a lot of beautiful scenery and things to do at Zephyr, despite the parking being a complete nightmare.

This is a great restaurant with affordable prices. Very family, friendly and a great place to eat. Especially if you’re staying at the campground across the street. I really enjoyed the chorizo breakfast burrito. I will come again.

What a pathetic staff they have there! Unbelievable service! I ordered a to-go order, just 2 servings of the Zephyr Special, pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage! Well got my order and went to the beach to eat with my family, and they missed half the order, no bacon and sausage! Then I walk all the way back, and there is a female server, and she asks what she can help with, I tell her my situation and I assume she might be able to help, I was wrong, she said that I had to talk with my server! Okay, but she does not want to get him, she just turns her back to me and ignore me! Okay, what a place, then after a few minutes of it just being super awkward, and she still not acknowledging me, my server finally appears and she calls him over. Well, what can I say?! Rarely have I been treated that poorly in my life, great way to ruin people’s family vacation! Keep up the good work!

Conveniently located on Highway 550 just adjacent to the lake. It has seating outside with a clear view Lake Tahoe. Certainly not a fancy place but staff was friendly welcoming and the service was very good. Prices are about what you were expecting the lake Tahoe area. My Zephyr special included three eggs French toast, sausage and bacon. Fair amount of food for the price.

Service is outstanding. The menu while limited, at least at lunch, has good choices. My wife’s tomato soup was very flavorful and my burger was perfect with more flavor than most places.

Very busy marina and beach every day of the week and weekend however the restaurant has good service and nice lake and mountain views from the outdoor deck. Their food is nothing special, average at best, but the service is quite competent and the workers are friendly.

Saw this restaurant recommended as a top South Lake Tahoe restaurant so had to try it out. While I wouldn’t necessarily call it a “top” restaurant, it was a fun visit. Service and hours of operation are limited due to COVID which is to be expected.
