This is a family friendly Cafe with a friendly atmosphere and a professional staff. The food is excellent and served hot. There is plenty of parking with handicap spaces available. If you’re in Piedmont, MO I recommend dining here.

Small town diner/cafe. I really was hoping to like this place, but the food was just so-so. I had the open-faced turkey sandwich with gravy and mashed potato. The food tastes institutional and very low-effort, not homemade. Gravy was very salty and tasted like it came out of a jar. My friend ordered fried chicken wings which arrived undercooked and still pink in the middle. All the other food was nothing special. Sometimes in a small town you take what you can get. I was just passing through and won’t be back again anytime soon, but I imagine their breakfast is much better.

We eat here everytime we are in Piermont, heat home cooked, down home food. Forgot to take a photo before we began to eat. Cried chicken mashed potatoes and gravy, and green beans. Mine was catfish and Mac and cheese. Wonderful!!

Well worth making it a plan! Had a very good Ruben, nicely well-grilled like I love. Also got a great tasty big double cheese burger to go. It was very good beef and another meal on it’s own. Other plates I saw looked good as well and it’s all bargain-priced IMO. I don’t know how often I can get to Piedmont (LOL) but will hope for a chance to return here for more good food! Positive downhome classic American cafe vibe. Made my day really.

Food is good & service is friendly. Clean, pleasing & charming environment. Seems to be run strictly by women. They’re doing a darned good job!

We stopped and tried the catfish dinner. It was excellent. The best catfish we’ve had in quite awhile. We would highly recommend this cafe.

First it took awhile to get drinks. Eventually we ordered some burgers . They were pretty good just a simple plain cafe in the northern ozarks with just a little less hospitality.

The Reuben is so good. The marbled rye is so perfect. The Roast Beef rueben was pretty tasty as well. We were 100% clean plate club members at Zephyr Cafe. Yum!

End of buffet so most things were dry but still tasted good. The price is the sticker shock. Lunch buffet was $10.99 plus drink. The buffet price was misleading. Buffet was listed on the menu as “HOT BUFFET”: “soup & salad” $7.49 or “salad only” $3.95. We figured the regular price was $7.49 plus drink. But, ended up $14.05 plus tip for a “hometown” lunch buffet. Ridiculous!
