Zenshi Handcrafted Sushi has opened multiple locations inside of Ralph’s Grocery Stores around San Diego and Southern California. This one is inside the Ralph’s in Bonita, San Diego on Otay Lakes Road.
I wanted a tekka maki and a sake roll, but they did not have any so I went with their Cream Cheese Roll with salmon, avocado, and cream cheese or one may call it a Philly Roll for $8.49. A good price may point out.
The roll was pretty good. It was well made and held together well. The salmon, avocado, and cream cheese were all tasty. The sliced ginger on the side could have been fresher however. The wasabi was decent. I liked that they offered little packages of soy sauce. They offer a variety of rolls, including poke bowls and sashimi.
The service was friendly and helpful. The rolls and sushi are made fresh daily.
