I enjoyed coming here. All the servers are really cool and casual. It’s definitely like a little bit of a party environment in this restaurant – everyone is just having a good time. The sushi is good. The head chef was really awesome and just came to our table various times and explained what he was doing. He was serving us and it’s just a really great vibe. They have an $11.99 all-you-can-drink special, so $11.99 per person. I’ll definitely be coming back. They also have this weird robot thing, so the service is super fast despite only being one or two servers for the whole restaurant. I think I’ll definitely be coming back and maybe even hosting a party here or something like that.

Amazing food! I’ve had a lot of sushi but the umami salmon roll here is one of the best rolls I’ve ever had. Normally I find rolls without sauce a bit dry however the rolls here have olive oil and salt which I was hesitant about but was absolutely amazing. This restaurant instantly became one of my favorite places. Highly recommend – try a roll with the olive oil and umami salt! I also love that they peppers to add the kick to spicy rolls. Most places put Sriracha which is fine but adding peppers gives spice without taking away from the flavor of the fish like sriracha can. Had a great dinner here and will definitely be back!

The new executive chef Bobby is killing it. The salmon tartar is out of the stratosphere. Great experience all around.

Visited on a weekend evening. Pretty busy but not overly so. I ordered the Hokkaido Scallop, Unagi, and Ika Nigiri, along with the Spicy Salmon Hand Roll and Taiyaki Ice Cream dessert. Overall, it ran me about $50.

The food was just “alright.” None of the food was morish and the price I paid didn’t feel justified. The hand roll was pathetic – I could not tell that there was salmon in there… And the Taiyaki Ice Cream was literally just one of those ice creams you could buy a four-pack of but charged three times more. This restaurant serves Nigiri and Handrolls, but I’d say stick with the regular rolls and save the specialty sushi for a dedicated omakase restaurant. And absolutely skip the dessert…

Atmosphere – The restaurant’s main appeal is that it runs as a “bullet train” restaurant. However… when I came to visit, it wasn’t running! And because of this (or not), service was pretty slow! It took 20 minutes to get my food… The decor of the restaurant was okay… I guess I expected more eating at a Sushi restaurant in San Francisco.

Would I eat here again?
Absolutely not, lol… Way too expensive for what you get and there are no promises of their marketing draw (bullet train).

This is hands down the best sushi spot in SF. Fantastic maki, sashimi, hand rolls that even come on a robot and bullet. Great flavor, large portions.

Killer sushi spot with unbelievably friendly staff. The fish was super nice and the portions were solid. Chef Bobby G took care of us; it’s really great when the person making your food actually cares about what they do.
