The BEST place ever!! *Authentic* Chinese food from the Wenzhou region of China.
The hot tea was incredible and a huge bag of tea. It was hot to the touch and kept warm for 30 minutes!
I had both the tofu and sweet potato and vegetable soup and then the next day, the shrimp 1 ton soup and both are so different than any soup I’ve ever had, but the broth was incredibly full of flavorful broth so much that I knew I was being nourished to the bone..

Major shout out to Zeng you guys are truly setting the bar for excellence when it comes to awesome Chinese food I would never have expected to eat the best Chinese food in my life in Santa Fe New Mexico. This place was so charming. The food was so delicious and they had this absolutely fascinating little robot server. Our table each ordered a different dish and then we split those dishes for ways so we got to try a lot of the food that Zeng has to offer and let me tell you everything was absolutely delicious so if you’re visiting in the Santa Fe, New Mexico area I highly recommend going here

My family and I came to the restaurant. Our waitress, Katy, and the food server machine did all the best in providing us what we ordered! Katy herself assisted us when deciding what to order and helped confirm which is the best food to try. Very authentic food. We all loved it!

We ordered our food to go, and I came in to pick it up. It was not ready when I arrived, they offered me to sit and a bottle of water. They were nice and I enjoyed the clean beautiful restaurant while I waited. The crab rations were the biggest I ever had, and they were delicious. Definitely a good spot for both dine in and take out.

Maybe my expectations were too high given the high rating, but this place did not hit the target. The service was excellent, super attentive, and very friendly. The food came out is a reasonable amount of time, but my entree came out a good bit before my dumplings. The food in general was not great. The fried rice lacked flavor, and the chicken had a very unfamiliar and unenjoyable mouth-feel to it. The dumplings had a strange burnt metallic taste that I couldn’t really place. This is sadly not a place I would go back to.

We had a good dinner. Got to watch them make dumplings. The food overall was good. We had all the normal stuff, noodles, dumplings, chicken, etc. unfortunately we were starving and the food was good so no pictures of the food just empty plates. The staff was very friendly. The only thing that took away from our experience was the table that let their kids run wild all over the patio and jump over empty tables and the patio wall.

I never would have expected to find the best Chinese food I’ve ever eaten, in Santa Fe, but that’s just what happened. From the dumpling sauce to the flavors in both dishes we ordered, it far exceeded anything I’ve even had anywhere else. Just be careful of the heat index. The two chillis symbol on the menu was very hot, and I like hot food, so just be careful.

I ordered the chicken, onion, and mushroom dumplings, but what I received appeared to be chicken and corn only—there were no mushrooms at all. The menu description was inaccurate, which was disappointing. Service was also lacking, as we didn’t receive water refills until the very end of the meal.
On the positive side, the dumplings were generously filled with chicken purée and were quite hearty. With more accurate menu descriptions and better attention to service, this could have been a much better experience.

We visited your restaurant for dinner today and were quite disappointed with our experience.
We ordered beef with Chinese kale and stir-fried bok choy with mushrooms. However, the dishes we received were beef with broccoli and Shanghai bok choy with mushrooms instead. These were clearly different from what we had ordered.
When we asked the server for clarification, we were told that the dishes were correct, which left us confused and concerned. We ended up finishing the meal reluctantly, but the overall experience was very disappointing.

We just had THE WORST experience at this restaurant.
It started of by waiting outside for 30 min on the half-empty restaurant. It was explained that the back kitchen was busy so it was understandable.
The true scene started when we finally got a seat. When we were ready to order, the waiter throw us a piece of paper and pen let us WRITE THE ORDER ourselves. This is so unusual but we just thought maybe people were busy, so we DID wrote the order ourselves. We should’ve known by then that things were off but unfortunately no.
The waiter finally came to collect the paper WE WROTE and left with no words. Then we waited 30 minutes with NOTHING served on our table. We were curious since we ordered appetizers/dumplings/plain rice besides main dishes, so we expect SOMETHING to be on the table by 30 min. We finally started to ask the status of our food, and in return of this ask, the waiter rush over angrily while waving a receipt, saying “I JUST PUT IN YOUR ORDER. THERE’S NOTHING I CAN DO!”. We looked at the receipt and it was created 20 min ago, and we ordered earlier than that for sure . And, while we were still looking at the receipt and not saying anything, here he goes, which I quote: “IF YOU’RE IN A HURRY, GO TO MCDONALD’S!”, then proudly leave.
We were so in shock. Did we just got insulted by a waiter by politely asking order status, who did not serve at all?? We communicated with the owner on this immediately, and the other kind waiters soon brought ALL our food in 5 minutes. We have reasons to believe the food was ready but we were intentionally left starving 🙂
The food was ok but main dishes were way too spicy. This could’ve been communicated if there was an actual person taking our order that we can communicate to. But NO. To make is worse, when we almost finished, the “McDonald’s guy” waiter suddenly showed up, looking at our half empty plates, and his receipt, leaving a “you got all your food? Good”, then leave. We were like hello???? Why do you care? Do you have anything to do with it? You did not take the order, did not bring ANY food, and INSULTED the customers on purpose, and now you return to check the vanished FOOD??
The owner in the end showed up, apologized and gave us an discount, stating the waiter was undertrained. But to us this is such a 2-hour nightmare that completely ruined our day. It’s understandable that the restaurant is busy and need to use an unfamiliar staff but that guy is just malicious. He’s not helping, and instead making it worse. Everyone was busy there, but I’m sure that guy is just walking pass the room empty handed all the time. PLEASE STOP HIM FROM HURTING ANYONE ELSE.
