And when we say good, we mean our ingredients are sourced locally as much as possible, and everything we use is compostable, and our fish are all sustainable certified- so that you can feel great about what you’re eating! We also serve local beers, ciders and kombucha! And donate a portion of our profits to different nonprofits that are close to our team and our customers’ hearts every month!

Zenfish is the absolute BEST poke restaurant. The food is delicious and always fresh. All the sauces are made in-house, and the ginger miso is incredible. The employees are friendly and the prices are low for high quality, healthy food. I love supporting this woman-owned local business!

The food was definitely not what I expected for almost $12. The nachos are a rip off. you get half of a half bag of chips and then only comes with green onions a cold drizzle sauce and I am a vegetarian so I got it with sweet potatoes, but the sweet potatoes were also cold. Definitely not what I expected and definitely not worth $12.

Best poke we have had since moving to North Carolina 2 years ago, hands down. We are originally from Los Angeles, and this, by far, is the freshest, best tasting poke we have had since being here!
The fish – EXCELLENT quality, fresh. Perfectly cut. The rice was perfectly cooked, not over or under, perfect temp. All the toppings – awesome! And such a selection! Refer to my pics. They have a large list of signature sauces, too. We got the Sriracha aioli – perfectly savory with a little kick. We also got miso chocolate chip cookies – what???? They’re good!
The shop is clean, bright, and welcoming, and so is the staff. I highly recommend it! They have two locations.

The people who gave a low rating towards this restaurant were telling the truth. I wish I have read some of the reviews. The ratio is off! You get two shrimps (literally), teaspoon of other protein and vegetables on top of a pound of rice/lettuce. This bowl with 3 protein cost $15. There are other restaurants who offer a better rice to protein ratio.

This was my first visit to this place and also my first time ever trying a Poke bowl. I wanted to come here because it was highly recommended. As it was my first time trying a poke bowl, I wanted the best experience. However, that experience was ruined. I paid extra to get 2 servings of Avocado. From what I understand, 1 serving is one half of one, so I paid extra for a whole avocado. This was a take out order so although I noticed that the young lady placed my avocados upside down, I didn’t think anything of it. I should have. When I got home to eat my meal and proceeded to turn the avocados over, both of them have various stages of blackness on them. It is clear that they had gone bad from staying out in the air too long or were severely bruised before cutting yet the girl still served them to me. Something that I had to pay extra for. How disrespectful can you be to do something like that??? This meal was pricey, so I was left embarrassed trying to scrape away as much of it as I could to see if any of the avocado could be salvaged. If an establishment is going to boast about their freshness of food, there is no way I should have been served something like this. If this is what goes on there, I wouldn’t recommend visiting.

This was my first time trying a sushi wrap and it did not disappoint! A regular size wrap gives you 3 types of protein, unlimited mix-ins, unlimited sauces, 3 toppings and crunchy toppings as well. Pictured is spicy tuna, krab, and scallops for the protein. There are many choices for tuna and other seafood (both raw and cooked) as well as a few vegetarian choices. All the food that they serve tastes fresh and you really can’t go wrong with any combination! Plenty of seating inside and the workers are super sweet. I would definitely go again and plan on trying the nachos next time!

Tried a tuna poké bowl at the ZenFish pop-up at The Beach House at Tiki Brewing in Cary tonight. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful. The owner and her husband served us themselves and were kind and courteous. I will definitely be making the drive up to one of their locations in Durham some day very soon. Thank you!

Love love love. I’ve been at this location and the one on ninth Street in Durham several times. This place just makes me feel good. Upbeat, peaceful atmosphere that always has friendly service. Whether you’re getting a burrito or a bowl you can never go wrong. Love Zen Fish!
