They have an automatic tipping charging more than 15% it’s completely bullshit they mentioned it’s supposed to be for foreigners and people who don’t leave tips often like just say your job doesn’t pay you enough you have to charge people without knowing until after plus they wouldn’t take it out leaving a tip are customers opinions not demanded. The food was good they environment was lovely but if you don’t want to tip well good luck with that because its demanded honestly I’m going to look somewhere else to eat worse experience ever

Went for late lunch, early dinner. Was greeted upon walking in. Very friendly staff. Food came hot and service was excellent. Everything was tasty and really flavorful. Portions were generous. Ordered dessert and was pleasantly surprised by the deep fried cheese cake; warm flaky pastry crust and the cheesecake was not too rich. Highly recommend this place for a less crowded place to eat.

An impressive first visit! I came in alone and was made to feel really welcome. They gave me a good table and plenty of time to scope out the extensive menu. No rushing, no hurrying. The several dishes I tried were all great, most especially the nigiri sushi items, all of which were first-rate with generous portions. The service was flawless. One lady is particular seemed to be covering all the tables and seeing that everyone had what they needed, and she was exceptionally good. She can make you feel like an old friend in no time. Zencu is well worth a visit. It’s the kind of place where they ask you your name, and you know they want to see you come back.

Amazing sushi here. The fish is really fresh. The rolls are pretty big portions. Everything tastes amazing and goes well. Pretty much the best sushi I’ve ever had except some of the rolls are pretty spicy. We ordered a little too much and the price came out a little high, But you only need to order like one or two rolls per person honestly. We got literally like seven rolls and everything came out amazing. Not a single miss. The vibe and ambiance is lively and The service is phenomenal. All the waiters are very kind and The food came out really really fast like really really fast. Everything about the this place is Wonderful! Coming back here another time.

A new family tradition is born. One week visit to see the family had dinner here twice. It’s rare when the whole family is satisfied at the same time. Just my experience, they gave bigger portions just before closing time. If you are in LA for a visit or residence give them a try. You’ll love it. Can’t wait until my next trip.

Very unassuming place but serves good food. Ordered 2 lunch bentos, and the beef teriyaki was made just right, and the tuna roll was one of the best presented and served!!
Also ordered the tonkatsu ramen with great flavor broth+ meat n noodles.

Stopped by while passing. Sushi salad was really good. Very very fresh and well flavored with soy sauce based dressing. Plenty amount. Fast service and spacious dining area. Only reason it’s not a five star is because I don’t know how good a sushi needs to be because I am not an expert in Japanese food. But definitely sushi that I ordered was tasteful!
