First, the stag was very pleasant. Took our order patiently and explained the dishes. Crazy crispy tuna roll tasted amazing. My husband tried Thai iced tea and really liked it. So happy to try a nice place close to home. We’ll be back this summer when friends will visit.

Zen has wonderful authentic Asian cuisine. I wish service was a little faster, but it is still the off-season, and therefore, only one sushi chef. We had a large party and everyone was pleased.

Stopped in for lunch. It was really slow but it’s the off season here. Our server was so nice, and the food was delicious. We ended up ordering coconut shrimp, some sushi rolls, and a chicken katsu bento box.

FOOD was hit and miss. Portions are small and prices are high
General Tso’s chicken was not that good a little dry and light on the sauce.
**RECCOMENDED DISH Pineapple fried rice was AMAZING one of the best I have had.**
Chicken lettuce wrap appetizer – not very good and unbelievably small for $13. Lucky if you get 2 lettuce wraps
Did not try sushi.

I have eaten sushi from all corners of the United States and by far this was the best sushi and Asian cuisine I have ever had! The tuna in the Naruto Roll was phenomenal and overall the service was quick and the staff is friendly! 10/10

Will never eat there again. I ordered a sushi roll that was suppose to have spicy tuna and avocado on the inside and on top was the black pepper tuna with fish eggs. They only sprinkled fish eggs on top of one piece and not across all the pieces. When I asked she said it’s only suppose to be on one piece which is a lie then she went and was talking to another employee in her language and came back and said, some people don’t like the fish egg so they only put it on one piece. I explained to her that if a customer don’t like it they will tell you dont put it on top of the sushi. I don’t like being lied to and I don’t like paying for something that I was suppose to get and I didn’t. I won’t be returning back to this establishment

This Place: Pretty Damn Good!
It was fresh, temperature perfect, excellent presentation.
I was very surprised by the quality of sushi considering the fact that it is on LBI, where some people will be so happy to get a reservation, they’d eat cardboard without complaint.

BUYER BEWARE- If I could give zero stars , I would. After years of eating at this restaurant (despite their overpriced , shrunken dishes), last night will be the last!! Ordered a small side of broccoli with my order and when I saw the receipt, they had the audacity to charge $19 FOR BROCOLLI!!! When I called them, the child that answered the phone said they always charge people for chicken and broccoli when they just want broccoli. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS!! You should be ashamed of yourself. I could buy 17 lbs of broccoli for $19
