For appetizer, we got the fresh spring rolls with shrimp and chicken plus peanut sauce. It was good. For the mains, I got the Chicken Pho. Excellent broth, perfect with the cold weather. My husband ordered the Lemongrass Chicken. I super enjoyed the lemongrass chicken, it was very tasty! We both agree though, that the protein portion was on the small side. Overall, we can’t wait to come back and try other items in the menu.
The ambience is super inviting open concept.
They have a full bar that is currently getting prepped while waiting on their liquor license.
Since it is only soft opening, they’re still getting ready for the grand opening and perfecting few other , but overall, it was a great experience.
The crispy shrimp appetizer is so good. It pairs well with the sweet-and-sour sauce.
The calamari is super crispy, but still tender and juicy inside.
The steak & the pork rice platter are well seasoned and can’t wait to come back to try other items on the menu.
The service was great. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in.
Our whole family left happy and satisfied, and we’re already looking forward to coming back again.
Update: I’ve been back several times after the soft opening and have had numerous dishes… Bún bò huế second time around was bland. The oxtail pho broth was too oily and the oxtail meat was not tender enough (tough actually) but ribeye meat was good and broth flavor was okay but the basil & cilantro on veggie plate were wilted. Veggie pho was super bland with no scent of pho spices. I did like the calamari though, just needed a side of spicy peppers with it. The pad Thai noodles were pretty soggy and sweet. The beef drunken noodles were actually good, not bad. The adobo pork was really delicious and very tender. Combo grill rice platter was good with good nước chấm . Singapore noodles were so bland. Summer rolls had pretty good peanut sauce.
I’m really rooting for this place but they need to become more consistent in their food flavors and quality for me to continue to return. Service and atmosphere have been good for the most part. Hopefully they can get it together in the kitchen.
